For almost 3 years now, Dallas Personal stylist and Image Consultant, Tara Hooper of The Style…read moreSignature has been helping me discover & develop my personal branding style. She has shown me what colors & styles fit my body & lifestyle. Every time I work with her, I learn something new that I can apply - which continues to build the confidence I feel, knowing I'm in 'my' colors & style. I can honestly say that before working with Tara, I dreaded getting into my closet ... but now it is a whole lot more effective and is actually fun! About 2x a year she and I go 'shopping & sorting' thru my closet to reevaluate and rediscover what's in there that is still working or no longer works. After she leaves each time - I feel organized, calm, motivated & happy, and know that I am wearing the right colors & styles for ME.

Tara always had great ideas that fit my look and my personality and she executed them well. I appreciate that she gets to know her clients--sometimes I wasn't in a mood to decide what I wanted to do but I knew that if I let her do whatever she wanted, she always did exactly what I needed. I miss Tara! So if you have a chance to go to her, go!

If you end up at WHBM, I'll mention that their store manager Karina is the sweetest salesperson you could ask for. If you're ever in the area I'd definitely recommend stopping here! While several of the stores do cater to somewhat more mature customers, it's a great place for TCU students too; stores like Anthropologie and Free People immediately come to mind. Even in some of these stores that normally cater to older customers (mainly WHBM) I've found some cute items that might be appropriate for something like a sorority function; don't be afraid to have an open mind. Also, several of the clothing stores here seem trans- and GNC-friendly in my experience. As mentioned above I've had great experiences with WHBM, but Ann Taylor, Chico's (sister brand to WHBM), Madewell, Anthropologie, and Free People also felt welcoming as well.

The pretty window displays at this location drew me in from the street. Right when you walk in, you are greeted and there is an abundant array of merchandise to start browsing. I went for the dresses, tops, and accessories. There was a deal going on buy one, get the other at 30% off. I ended up leaving with 3 dresses and a top. Had I had more time to browse, I probably would have gone through all of the items out on the floor as there is plenty of diversity in products on every inch of the store to explore. The staff was also a joy to speak with and were so very helpful. I ended up wearing two of the items I bought for my event I was in town for. They both worked so well with the belt I had brought and were perfect for the occasion.

So I have to admit, previously I wasn't a big fan of See's candy. A former co-worker would always…read moreget everyone a very well intentioned box of chocolates from whichever locations they went too for a winter holiday gift ... but from the pre made boxes I never had landed on a piece that I liked. While my teenager & their friends wandered the mall I decided to peak in this location because I hadn't seen one with a display case like this one. (I had only ever been to ones with pre-made boxes like at NFM.) First off staff here was outstanding! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the product. Plus they offered a sample when I came in of an item. The smallest size of a picking from the case item is a half pound box. I was able to find plenty of options that worked with my preference &/or a family member's favorites. My box ended being slightly heavier than the half pout ... I think .64 pounds ... so my total came to a little over $20. Which isn't bad when you think of getting a choose your own "adventure" box of fancier chocolates! If your getting See's visit this location!

The peanut brittle and toffee-ettes were my favorites for a while but now I have to be nicer to my teeth! I love the buttery sweetness and the crunchy nuts in both candies. They have specially packaged candies for several holidays and special occasions. These make great gifts for teachers, colleagues, friends, family, and significant others. Selections include little bagged treats to mini boxed chocolates to bigger ones. You could even custom pick which chocolates to include in your box. They have a display counter of all their individual offerings to choose from. Try not to drool. The employees here are super friendly on every single one of my visits. They hand out a sample when you walk in. The store is small but always neat. I'm not a fan of malls but I'm not lying when I say See's is one of the few stores I go there for. Take the food court entrance and walk through, then hang a slight left. See's is definitely higher in quality than your average boxed chocolates and at a fair price. Can't go wrong with anything here!
