Imagine you have a coffee filter and you turn that into a gutter guard. A hydrophobic mesh guard that essentially rolls water right over the gutters thus defeating the purpose of gutters. Within the first year of the gutters, I did have a problem with leaks in the seams of the downspouts, which they had someone come and fix, so they did get that part right. However, I'm disappointed by their customer service and lack of accountability to come to a solution for the guards after multiple calls and a no show, they even sent someone out and still were unable to authorize removing the guards, which only took about an hour for us to remove and should not have been recommended in the first place. In addition to rolling water off the top, the thickness of the guards pushed up the roof shingles, trapping water as you can see from the photos.

I asked for him to clean them again and he blamed the weather and saying he had a lot of dust this year. In 32 days? It should not look like this. Other times, we've reached out and received no response at all. On top of that, we were never provided with a paid invoice, despite having paid for the work. We shouldn't have to repeatedly chase down a company for both unfinished work and basic documentation after paying them a significant amount of money. At this point, it's incredibly frustrating. The actual roofing work may have been good, but a job isn't truly finished when there are unfinished details, the company repeatedly says they'll come back and doesn't, messages go unanswered, and we still don't have a paid invoice. This could have been a very positive experience, but the lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism has really changed my opinion. (Thanks to his handy drone camera, I could see for myself.) Not only bad for the tiles, but extremely dangerous to walk on! When wet, it's super slippery. Since we're selling our house, I didn't want not want any issues with the inspection (nor endanger the inspector). Carlos gave a quote range and was able to squeeze in the job the very next day (it took several hours, easily half the day), and before the forecasted rain!
