He is very knowledgeable and kind and office staff is very sweet. Office is clean and state of the art with lots of parking. Also, I should mention making an appointment is easy and they are very forgiving when your child may break a wire or need to come in for an emergency. This was the first time he needed cavities treated, which felt overwhelming as a parent because unfamiliar environments, people, and equipment can be especially difficult for autistic children. Dr. Chris was incredibly calm, patient, and compassionate. He met our son where he was, spoke to him in a gentle and reassuring way, and used playful interactions to help him feel safe and comfortable. Because of that support, our son was even able to tolerate an X-ray, which was a huge milestone. We love the TV screen with cartoons on the ceiling which engages kids quite well! I was also very nervous about the anesthesia, but Dr. Chris was so understanding and reassuring throughout the process. His experience with autistic children truly shows, and it made all the difference for our family. We highly recommend him.

Two…read moreappointments ago, a random dentist came in and performed our exam, zero introduction, less than stellar bedside manner. I was hoping this was a traveling dentist. During our last appointment this same dentist performed our exam. Again, zero introduction. He walks in the room and asks my 9 year old "what questions do you have for me?" Not sure how a 9 year old would respond. My son is super proud of not having any cavities but this dentist only provided negative feedback, commenting on something my son might be missing. After that appointment, I called the office to provide feedback, and they assured me that the next appointment would be with Dr Patterson. Fast forward 6 months and I get the reminder for our appointment in a couple of days which states that our appointment is with the dentist we do not prefer. I call the office about this, and the staff member begins throwing out new times that do not work for children in school. I ask if I can have someone call me back so I can understand how our original request wasn't honored and she stated that she could "try to have Tara call me back." Unfortunate that this was our experience. I recommend proactive communication when deciding to switch patients' providers to they can make informed decisions regarding their care. We won't return.

Her hygienist Lily was very patient and kind that she got my daughter to open her mouth and stick the dental tools in there. Dr Nick is a very smart man and very good at answering questions and look in my daughter's mouth! I was impressed with his great bedside manner and professionalism. He made realistic recommendations and was thorough for looking into a little toddlers mouth! More dental offices should take the time to build trust with the children like Lone Tree Pediatric Dentistry did! Love the office and age appropriate Activites and goodies for my daughter. Thank you for a successful first dental visit. Now my daughter is 4 years old and had to get 2 fillings and knocked out her front tooth. I loved that this dental office got her in promptly, was kind and patient and assessed for damage of the missing tooth right away. Dr. Miner is great with kids and parents. He has great Bedside manner. He and Lilly worked on my daughter's fillings today and she was very nervous. But they calmed her enough to do the work and were very patient and kind to her. I was charged for a panoramic xray because this office did not confirm the insurance coverage on…read morethe service. When I spoke with the billing department about this, she said " we always ask if it's OK to take an x-ray so when you say yes that means you are financially responsible". I informed her that when a clinician is asking if it's an OK to take an x-ray that question is in reference to the health of the child and is not in regard to billing considerations so that should not be considered financial consent. Additionally, my children went to the dentist independently from the ages of 16 to 18 where this office gave them treatments that are not covered by insurance based upon the consent given to them by the underage child, and not, as required by law, by the parent.

TV playing with cartoons at 9am and the play area is visible from the door. It's a very well equipped play area with a block table, lots of toys for a range of ages and tablet screens. Normally when you fill out dr questionnaires, no one reads them and asks you all the questions again. Well I can tell you, they read them! Some of the questions I needed to clarify but they read them. Winning!! In the room, it feels warmer than a sterile room but it's still a dentist office. There was no stickers of cars or horses on the walls but they had a tv on the ceiling ready for the kids to enjoy/distract. My 2 year old got through it with his favourite YouTube channel because it's like a drug for him in comparison to other kids shows. The nurse gave his teeth a clean and a look over, we had a visit from the dr and he gave a more thorough exam and then me a run down of how everything is progressing, addressed my concerns and I was on my way, and my kid with a new toy in his hand after being able to pick one from the toy wall. My insurance covers everything and I trusted the office to keep tracking what was needed to be done. This time I got a bill so I called the office to ask why. Instead of listening to my question, the finance lady yelled at me and told me to stop talking. I never got treated like this in my whole life anywhere else. The dentists need to know how bad she was. As a customer, I had the right to ask a simple question. I don't care what her problem was that day, she had no position and right to treat me like that. We left the office right away and will never go back.
