Where to start....I hate dentists (Yes I said it) I have had some pretty hardcore dental treatment…read moreand care since I was 8 years old (yes I was that child). I have had horrible experiences, good experiences, and ok experiences. Needless to say over the years of experience I am like a "Wine Sommelier" of dentists. I found Ken Caryl Dental Center after doing extensive research on dentists in the area. Yes, I had fired my previous dentist (not to be named) in Lone Tree, and was on the hunt. I made a standard teeth cleaning, and dental exam appointment with Dr. Rand to test them out. Might I say it was as close to "Love At First Sight" as it can get. Dr. Rand is an amazing dentist. First off he cares, and if he doesn't he is one heck of an actor and should quit dentistry and move to Hollywood. He takes time to make sure you get what you want. I had a dental implant that was done 10 years ago. I had never put a permanent crown on it, and after gaining some trust with Dr. Rand I mentioned that I would like to start this process. As he began the process he was not comfortable with loading down my implant without an opinion of a perio. Fun fact, the perio who did my implant was still in town and he was able to get ahold of her. After an appointment with her they both gave the recommendation not to load down the current implant. Why waste $1000's of dollars for my permanent crown, and have it fail in a few years? (TOTALLY MY FAULT FOR THE FIRST FAILURE) Needless to say that's when things got complicated! I had my old implant removed (by my perio), bone graft, and new implant placed (4 months later). What does a general dentist have to do with my implant you ask? A lot actually! Due to all of this happening while I was moving halfway across the country my treatment plan needed to be coordinated and differ a little bit from the "Norm". Dr. Rand worked after hours with my perio (Who also got a killer review) on my treatment plan from start to finish. I have never seen two doctors from separate offices work, and communicate like this EVER! From pre-surgery, to surgery, to post surgery everything has worked seamlessly! Did I mention that I don't even live in Denver anymore? That's right I travel back because of the trust I had in my dentists performing this treatment. I will also continue to travel back for all of my treatments and finishing this one. About 10 days after my implant surgery, and not being in Denver I was feeling some looseness in my healing abutment and temporary crown. I called Dr. Rand explained to him over the phone of what was taking place, and he explained what the potential problems could be. Instead of having me travel back he called a dentist in the area I am at that he knew to take a look at me. I must say good dentists must know good dentists because who he sent me to was wonderful to work with (he will also be getting an amazing review). The problem was exactly what Dr. Rand had mentioned and it was taken care of. For him to personally check in on me, and ensure that everything was getting taken care of (after hours) is what I consider above and beyond. I have worked with Dr. Rand the most (hence why I have talked about him), and I am not trying to take anything away from Dr. Goral. The few times I have seen Dr. Goral (when Dr. Rand was out of the office) he has been great as well. I honestly would feel comfortable with either dentist. Enough about dentists let's talk about the office staff and the ladies in the back! You can't get a better office staff then what they have! From the ladies in the front always working to get me treatment plan estimates, scheduling, etc. They always have a smile on, and give you a warm welcome (even with a mask these days). The dental assistants and hygienists In the back are just as good. They truly listen, care, and are amazing. I might add I have never once had a bad experience in this office. I think it might be time Dr. Rand and Dr. Goral look at some good raises or bonuses for these ladies (Y'all can thank me later).

I recommend them to anybody that asks about or talks about going to the dentist! I did not go for…read moreyears because past dentists did not treat me nicely. Dr. Rand takes the time to explain to you everything he is doing while he is doing it. He never blames you for having cavities or makes you feel bad. I ended up having 9 cavities and he worked through 3 different visits to fix them all. He is awesome and all of the ladies that work there are super nice as well! Plus now I have a bunch of cool selfies :')

The office manager has questionable ethics. My 12yr old went in for an extraction (per a referral…read morefrom his ortho) & a cleaning and they called 24 hours later to collect $ for the surprise x-ray they did to "make sure they knew what tooth they had to pull" that should of been the first red flag. When I asked the receptionist why the paper they handed to me stated a different price than what she was telling me she proceeded to apologize and blame in on her new co worker who had just started. She let me know she would get me to a manager and that's when Danni (Danielle) got on the phone and proceeded to talk to me like I was a 2 year old and LAUGH at me and basically tell me I have to pay and basically have no other choice. Was never offered a different payment route or nothing even though her bio reads "she loves working with our families and helping create an environment they look forward to visiting". Danni is very unprofessional and always has been this hasn't been the first bad experience I've had at this office. When I previously left a 1 star review for their office for a front desk worker who had a horrible attitude like Danielle. Danielle called me so QUICK and BEGGED for me to remove the review. After speaking with previous staff I understand why their turnover rate is extremely high. Don't waste your time. All the doctors have left and most of the staff and Danielle do not care about patients or customer service. When I asked Danni to escalate the situation to her manager she laughed, yet again and told me she doesn't have one and that everything goes through her. After speaking with office staff they did confirm she does in fact have a manager. Awaiting confirmation of that information. Side note: AFTER I PAID THE PORTION DUE- I RCVD AN EMAIL STATING I STILL HAD A BALANCE OF $14.00. ONCE I REPLIED WITH THE BREAKDOWN OF THE MATH, SHE ACKNOWLEDGED IT WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING AND SHE DIDNT CALCULATE RIGHT, JUST LIKE THE DAY PRIOR WHEN I AM BEING TOLD ONE PRICE AND SURPRISED WITH ANOTHER

Got a call 20 minutes later from a very rude receptionist. I let her know this is unacceptable and not the first mistake we've endured over the last year or so and we would be considering whether or not to stay with their office. She was rude and condescending and spoke over me. This office really needs an overhaul. We've been patients for over 10 years...we are extremely disappointed in the changes in the level of care and concern for patients.
