Brand Marca thrift store opened less than a year ago, and it's been a great addition to the shopping plaza. I live near the Southwest area of Houston, and it's been difficult to find a thrift store that's clean, well organized and friendly. On my first visit to the Brand Marca thrift store, I was immediately blown away by the hospitality from the workers. One of the employees informed me on how to read the price of each tag as each color represents a different percentage off the price listed on the price tag. I began to shop around and realized everything is right where it was supposed to be, all the items were organized exactly as they should be, nothing was scrambled or in the wrong location. From sizes to different types of clothing, dresses, shoes, skirts, tops, shorts, skirts, etc., not one item was out of place. Workers were constantly around the store making sure to pick up after customers and offering them any assistance, whether it was to offer a basket or offer pricing details. In my past experiences with thrift stores, it's difficult to find well conditioned clothing at a low price, however when I was at Brand Marca, I walked out with two Calvin Klein dresses and a skirt from Hollister all for twenty one dollars. When I was browsing their clothing I noticed how pristine the clothing was, no stains, no ripping at the seams, no weird odors coming from it, things that don't seem like much, but for a thrift store, is impressive. When I tried on the clothes I also noticed the fitting rooms were small, but clean and effective. Just enough space to try on clothes without it taking up a huge part of the store. There was also no clothes from other customers trying on clothes as workers were constantly cleaning up. Brand Marca thrift is very special for several reasons. It offers high quality clothes for low prices that are affordable to any low income family. People don't have to sacrifice quality for the sake of price, with Brand Marca thrift you get both. They offer discounts on top of the already low prices, making it all the more affordable. The store also offers a reward system, you sign up for free using your email and phone number, and get a ten percent discount off your first purchase. Over time you accumulate points that will be discounted off your purchases as well. Once again very affordable and customer oriented.The store is rather hidden on the plaza, but I would recommend the store to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive shopping trip that's worth it. I've seen the store's reviews being pretty high, and it truly deserves it. Not everyone has the resources to buy good quality, but everyone deserves the chance to buy it. Hidden Gem in Houston - Feels Like Melrose Street! Alright, I gotta say--I was NOT expecting to find a spot like this in Houston! I'm from LA, was in town for a business trip, and randomly stopped by Brand Marca Thrift. Let me tell you... this place feels like one of those dope little thrift boutiques on Melrose--but with even better prices. I walked in just to browse and ended up leaving with a handful of casual button-down shirts that are perfect for going out after work. I also picked up some seriously cool jeans--the kind of stuff you'd normally pay a fortune for at a department store. But here? The prices are unreal. Honestly, I don't even know how they keep them this low. The store is huge, and the customer service is amazing. The staff was super friendly, showing me pieces I wasn't even expecting to find at a normal thrift shop. It's clear they really care about curating high-quality, stylish pieces. If no one else finds this place, that's fine with me--I'll keep the deals to myself. I understand that customer service can be stressful, but taking out frustration on customers is not acceptable.
