I called and left a message about hoping to get in quickly for a consult and an adjustment due to some back strain from moving/biking/life. However, being in meetings on a Monday and Tuesday meant little time to actually try to schedule something - can't be stepping out to make calls constantly. Dr. Steven was able to work with my schedule over text, and within a matter of minutes, I had an appointment that fit my schedule, and he gave me some (very reasonable) cost for services. I wasn't in the quaint waiting room before Dr. Steven came in to get me. On time. His demeanor was very casual and welcoming, which I love. I had a chiropractor once whose mannerisms were so erratic, I would always get nervous he was going to snap something or trip over his own feet (he was good, though, but man, just made me nervous). We went to his office, and he sat down and listened to me. Just sitting down and conversing with me meant a lot - no jittery movements, no multitasking, no BS. He took a great history and did some test movements to make sure he wouldn't injure anything before doing an adjustment. His adjustments lasted a fair bit longer than I have had in the past, as I usually get a quick crack or two then shoved onto a traction machine or some other contraption. Not Dr. Steven. Using only his handiwork and one handheld tool, he manipulated, massaged, stretched, moved, and then adjusted me. He educated me on some of my body's natural mobility, and the rationales for why I might be feeling some of my pains. After our appointment, he gave me some GREAT tips on how to improve my pain and spine health at home, and offered me to just message him and set up another appointment. In today's hectic world, finding someone who is accommodating, flexible, and skillful is a daunting task. I was really impressed at her vast amount of knowledge in her field. I filled out the forms that she gave me and she went over each and every answer in complete detail. Dr Dawn next had me get on the table and she went up and down my spine and neck area, asking me how each spot felt and if there was any pain there, while making notes of the spots that she would target for treatment. She then began manipulating those targeted areas and explained to me why she was hitting those areas and what I should expect as a result. So, after my initial treatment, I actually felt an improvement in my back. Dr Dawn did explain that it would take several treatments for the areas to get the results that I wanted. After my session was over, I set up future appointments with her. Dr Dawn was very friendly, forthcoming and professional in her interaction with me. I am glad I decided to give her a try.

First let me say that after my first visit with him, he called to see how I was doing. Really? Not just me, but friends of mine went to him as well, and told me that he called them as well to check in. Who does that? (Other than maybe the receptionist who is also trying to get another appointment~) I came to his office to have a session of functional neurology. I was skeptical when I was in the consultation. He did some testing on me to see the strength in my body....my hands, my arms and my legs. Even though I came in to treat an injury, I still had the feeling that my body was strong. Until he tested me...and, in that moment, no words had to be said. I had no ability to resist and show my strength! Then he treated me. Afterwards, he retested my hands, arms and legs, and incredibly....I was STRONG again!!!! That was enough to show me that this is where I needed to be to get better.. I've been coming to the practice now for about three months now. During this time I had an another health problem where my dentist had apparently hit a nerve or dug too deeply in my mouth, and the pain was incredible! I couldn't open my mouth! My Dentist was going to send me to a specialist....which of course would be costly I decided to tell this to Dr Walicki. In the same session he was treating me for my injury, he added an adjustment to my mouth. There was a noticeable improvement afterwards. Within the next 3 visits, I was completely healed of that! I came in at 10 for Physical Therapy. It ends at 11. And usually I'm seen by Chiropractor within 10 to 15 minutes. At 11:30 I walked up to the front desk and said I'm leaving. This is the second time it happened. If it was the first time I would've written it off. I did not write a review after the first time the physical therapist was not told I was there for a treatment. One of the staff went into James's office and said I was waiting to see him. Yes they gave me a last-minute appointment that morning. I don't know if his schedule was updated or what happened, but he had no idea that I was there and had an appointment with him that morning. This isn't a large office. Luckily the first time, one of the staff noticed me sitting there and alerted James. He said he would look into this and it wouldn't happen again. Well today, I waited 30 minutes. I watched people who came in after me get treated by the chiropractors. At 11:30 when I left someone at the front desk was said: 'she's next.' I should have been next at 11:15 or even 11:20.... and again, I'm gonna say this it is a small office. The front desk could've seen me sitting there. The front desk could've seen that my paperwork hadn't moved forward. The Chiropractor's could easily see me. There are three chiropractors on site. I really don't understand why I was ignored for 30 minutes.
