The other elements of the project are why I can no longer recommend this business. The power washer used a spigot I asked him not to which he left dripping on the outside of my home when he finished. An exterior outlet cover was removed and left on my front steps for some reason. And most frustrating was that during scraping/sanding/power washing, the old paint was flung in a 10-foot area around each of the 3 project areas (seen in photos). I brought this up to (I think) Molly who said someone would clean it. It has now been over 2 weeks and that has not happened. payment was also a mess. C&C said I could send the deposit money with Zelle. I did, but C&C does not have an account. When time came for follow up payment, the company requested the full amount because they had not retrieved the Zelle payment despite having suggested I use that method. Now Zelle won't cancel the pending payment and C&C won't enroll, so I have $450 inaccessible indefinitely. Furthermore, I had to pay the whole balance with a credit card (with a substantial fee) in order to guarantee the consumer protection to get my $400 back should the company decide to get the Zelle funds without refunding the payment. This is so sad because Jacob and Molly did another project for me a couple years ago that was amazing, which is why I called them back for this project. The actual painting is fine, but the customer service has gone way downhill. I paid them so I wouldn't have to spend hours worrying about the painting. Instead I've spent hours trying to get money back and will need to spend hours more cleaning up the project mess. I will not be using their services again. *it has been more than 3 weeks since the projects completion and the company has been aware of my grievances for 2 weeks, action has been promised but not taken.
