Located at OpenRoad Honda, 4 Maritime Ontario Blvd, Brampton, ON. I'd like to start off by saying this isn't my first distasteful experience with this dealership. I'd like to emphasize that this encounter is the worst of them all! On Friday July 12, 2024. I called into the location to set up a Maintenance appointment for my 2020 Honda Civic Ex. I had a very unpleasant interaction. The Service Advisor whom i spoke to was unpleasant, ignorant, very rude and showed no respect or empathy towards my inquiry. This Service advisor did not take the time to effectively, as well as, appropriately address my questions & concerns regarding my vehicle. I kept requesting pricing details. I wanted the specifics as to what the exact total would be for the maintenance that needed to be done on my vehicle. That's wasn't the case, instead, they couldn't help and did not even try to help. I felt like I was the service advisor because I had to figure out and calculate everything myself. It was a terrible experience. I was experiencing so much frustration and I'm very upset and disgusted by the way I was spoken to. As well as, with the poor assistance and guidance I was provided with. There was no compassion. They didn't listen to any of my concerns. I'm extremely taken back, upset, unimpressed, and unhappy with the poor customer service experience. I would like to emphasize that I will no longer be bring my 2020 Honda Civic to this Honda dealership location after, my upcoming last visit this Saturday July 13, 2024. The staff have caused me so much discomfort that I no longer feel the need to continue forward being a loyal customer to this Honda location or allow for my car to continue to be serviced at this Honda dealership location. This is a terrible location and I cannot entrust my vehicle with them any longer. I hope this catches the attention of those at head office at Honda Canada Inc. OpenRoad Honda needs to be audited.

It took almost 3 hours for the service department to tell me, the oil auto sensor needed replaced. They didn't have the part in stock but would be ordering it from Nissan. I had to pay upfront for the part. I stay in Lindsay during the summer so when Richmond called to say the part had arrived I booked an appointment to come down from Lindsay. Approximately 2.5 hr drive way. Again it took 3 hours to be told that the part was defective and this time they would get it from Nissan huh? Back to Lindsay, Richmond called to say the part had come in and we booked another appointment. Surprise, surprise the wrong part had come in and it took another 3 hours waiting to get this information. Why wouldn't the service department not check to see if they had the correct part? The money I paid for the part would be used for the original diagnostic and I would get a refund. This took some time and I was so frustrated at this point and said I was done and they could keep the refund. Richmond persevered and I did get my credit of $67 today , Yeah, not worth the aggravation!!! I finally went to a Nissan dealer in Lindsay who diagnosed the problem, had a part in stock and completed the repair in 1.5 hours all under warranty so no charge. I realize they are a Nissan dealer so I got lucky that they had the part. As far as the warranty goes should it not have shown up from the VIN when entered by Autoplanet. I checked my paperwork that I received when I purchased the vehicle. There is coverage in effect on used vehicles for 5 years from year of manufacture. The repair of my car is covered within the warrant. Richmond didn't think it was covered when I went for the diagnostic. Should this information not have been brought up on the service department screens, when my VIN was entered? Hypothetical question. I gave this company a two only because Richmond did stick with me to help and he was the one passing any information he got from the mechanics. Very disappointing and frustratin.
