Looking to find a place that l'd feel comfortable and that is affordable. After putting in many calls and messages to various places, Drum lesson's with Chip Ritter is the place I decided to go with. I like that he was able to work me in on short notice and work with my work schedule. Lessons are given in a nice, clean, comfortable, learning environment and it's close to home. Another thing I appreciated about how Chip taught my lesson is that he has his drum kit next to the student's drum kit. Being able to see drumming movement along with listening to the drum patterns is very helpful for someone like myself who needs to visualize how the music magic is made. Also, the cost per lesson is right on point with other places. $30 per 30 minute lesson or $25 per 30 minute lesson if you book 4 in advance. (Which is what I'll be doing moving forward.) I feel like I'm getting a steal for sure based off his years of teaching experience and talent. He is patient and it shows that he is a skilled drumming instructor.
