Had taken my vehicle to Brake Masters after a tire company had damaged my brake lines. My car has 58k miles. I still can't believe the guy at Brake Masters told me that my brake lines should be changed at 60k miles. Thats the most ridiculous and idiotic comment I've ever heard. Not sure if he was just looking for more money as he was trying to replace all four of my lines instead of the front two that were damaged or if he was trying to cover up for the tire company since the tire company was giving out brake master coupons/flyers which would make one believe that their affiliated. Then, the same clown who made the comment tells the same thing to the tire company who had damaged my brake lines. Again not sure if he was trying to help them in some shady way but nonetheless unprofessional to say the least. Stay away from this place! read more

The financing is a good option if you end up needing it and it's another thing I appreciate because you never know when an unexpected expense is just too much to handle at one time. Over the years I've had brake pads, rotors resurfaced, new struts installed, oil changes, thermostat replaced, cooling fans replaced, water pump replaced and I've been satisfied every time. I had one of my fuel injectors replaced here. I was driving down the road on 10 fw in palm desert and started spraying fuel all down the road. Had to make an emergency stop at a random shop. Turns out the O ring seal kit used on the fuel injector was not the proper one. If I paid over 2k for a cat converter replacement and fuel injector replacement I expect it to be done right with proper parts. It was not. Will never be back here. Disappointed at best...I have come here years ago and I used to get great fast service. I have replaced my brakes here and have that guarantee in the brakes. I arrived today to change the brakes at 10:00. I am by myself and had to wait, there were two other people there. I understand they may have more but I was then told they would look at it and in about 1 hour I would have a quote. Two hours later I was given a list of things that needed to be done on my car, probably about $1800 and conveniently they offer a payment plan. I'm no fool and have a good local mechanic so I told them I will have those parts checked but I only want my brakes done as I requested. I was told it would be about 2 hours and the labor would be $380 but when I asked about the online coupon I was told that is not applicable but they could discount the labor to $336. About 3 hours later and I'm still sitting alone in the waiting room. I heard them do the same nonsense to another woman. So what I thought would be a quick simple visit is now an all day affair and an attempted rip off. Do not waste your time! There are other good local mechanics! read more

Very poor service and customer service. Our car AC was serviced twice in less than 5 month. They just fill Freon despite of a known leak without fixing the main issue. Today I also requested the mechanic to check for a different issue and without even checking he just said change all brakes. He indeed refused to check the car as he was busy. I had a really good experience with taking my car here. The dealership wanted to charge me 200-300 to run a diagnostic for my brakes, Brake Master was able to do it for less than $100 and it went towards the repair cost. They let me know that it was a faulty wire that caused the brake messages to come on and didn't try to oversell me on fake things wrong with the car (my biggest fear dealing with auto repair shops). 4 month update... the noise coming from my car got worse .Thinking it was just a loose bolt when infact it was much worse. A Break Master employee told me the noise will go away over time and it didn't. I recently took it to a mechanic again and he found engine oil in the brake line. This caused my brakes to malfunction.
