You can buy your ticket at a machine inside the building, right by the door to the bus. You can also get it on the bus, but that is much more inconvenient and causes back up. The bus was spacious, clean, and fairly modern with air conditioning. If back in Oslo, I would take this bus again.

On the east side of the station is a tram station named Bussterminalen Grønland that allows the quickest transfers to the Ekeberg Line. I think they need to get a better bus system. It is way too overcrowded (heaven for pick pocketers), there is no air condition and most of the drivers are inconsiderate. They drive too fast not thinking of people standing up with nowhere to hold on to. I would rather walk.

The train station in Lillestrøm is the easiest way to catch a fast train to Oslo. It takes only 10 minutes and a person can get their hair done at "Hairport" before heading out partying in Oslo. One can also drink a cappuccino and eat a pastry at Garcon together with friends. There is a traffic school and fast food to be eaten and keys can even be cut while you wait and of course a Narvesen to buy ones newspapers and play the Lotto.

It takes 10 minutes to Oslo, and around 15 minutes to the airport by regional train (72kr), which is A LOT cheaper than the airport express "Flytoget".

This option was very convenient and was a much better cost than either a cab or ride-sharing service. In addition, it was much more convenient than trying to take the train to the airport. It picked us up right at the hotel and took us to the airport in less than an hour, including stops for other passengers. Because of a senior discount, the cost was only 159 NOK, which is about $16 a person. The discount was 50%, so the regular adult price would be $32 USD per person. According to an online search, the rideshare cost, such as Uber would b cost between NOK 720 and NOK 1400, which is $72USD to $144USD, so even with two people, there would be a significant savings using Flybussen. One tip: Be sure to be at the curb when they arrive because they will not check inside the hotel and if no one is waiting, they take off immediately.

I needed to exchange money- I had Swedish Kroner, not Norwegian Kroner, ask questions about a tour I was on, and confirmed the location of the places I was visiting that day. Things to note: - Make sure to press the button to take a number, if not, you'll be waiting awhile. - Go first thing in the morning when they open. My first experience went much quicker since I was on of the first people there. - Make sure the guides you are using are in your native language. - They do not charge a fee to exchange monies. - There is free wifi in the Centre. If it's your first time in Oslo, this is definitely a place you'll want to visit, if not frequent to ensure you have an amazing time in this wonderful place.
