Continuing what's turning into a Midwest ice cream pilgrimage, we set out to find good ice cream in Green Bay and Brain Freeze got the nod. They actually serve Chocolate Shoppe's ice cream so we knew it would be good. They are tucked away in a corner of nearby Howard, but aren't unknown as a steady stream of locals came by during our visit. They feature 40 flavors of Chocolate Shoppe ice cream - can't ask for more! I had Scotcheroo, butterscotch peanut butter ice cream with chocolate rice crisps - yum. My wife had Caramel Chaos, caramel ice cream with caramel swirls - a caramel lover, this was right up her alley. Plus we had great, friendly service from the girl handling our orders. Two thumbs up on Brain Freeze. read more

Brain Freeze - Where Taste Buds Go to Party and Your Brain Yells, "WORTH IT!" If I ever go missing, check Brain Freeze first. Deanna and her team are the real reason my GPS keeps rerouting me back there like it's a rescue mission for my soul (and sweet tooth). Walked in for "just one scoop." Left with a cone taller than my future and a smile so big I had to hold it with both hands. The ice cream? Creamy, dreamy, and possibly churned by angels. Prices? Let's just say I paid less for my sundae than I did for a bottle of water at the gas station. That's sorcery. Delicious, creamy sorcery. Deanna, the mastermind behind this frozen wonderland, is the kind of person who probably gives ice cream to her enemies just to win them over. Her helpers were so friendly and upbeat, I thought I'd wandered into a Disney movie--minus the musical number (although I did hum while eating). Bottom line: Brain Freeze is what would happen if Willy Wonka ditched the chocolate and focused on making the happiest ice cream shop on Earth. 10/10, will absolutely be back... once my taste buds forgive me for the cold snap. P.S. Try the cookie dough. You'll get misty-eyed. It's that good. read more

Brain Freeze - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Green Bay, Wisconsin

Delicious ice cream, tons of options! Not the best interior but I always just get it to go, as do most people. My only critique is when the line gets long, the service can be super slow and you'll be waiting a while to order. read more

Pretty good ice cream, Usually a decent line but the service is always good and the line moves by pretty fast

Cute little shop inside a strip mall. A ton of ice cream flavors and topping options. A little on the pricey side...two single waffle cones with no toppings was about 13.00. That being said, it was a fun treat and the flavors we had were delicious. Staff was very friendly and they do accept Apple Pay. Will definitely come back. read more

This is a great custard shop! Lots of flavors, friendly service, reasonable prices. It is delicious! Love it!!

Great place! Friendly and accommodating staff, great atmosphere. I definitely recommend this establishment! My daughter's attend school across the street from BrainFreeze, and their house went on a waffle Wednesday. I was amazed at how calm and organized they were with over 50 people needing to be served. They were patient, helpful, quick and efficient. Smiles adorned the employees faces in the middle of all the chaos. The selection of flavors was excellent, the price was amazing, especially compared to other ice cream shops in the Green Bay, DePere, and Howard-Suamico area. All the kids-and parents as well-advised a great time. I will definitely be returning, and if you haven't tried this place yet you must! read more

Best ice cream! The rhubarb ice cream in the spring is phenomenal! Never disappointed (except when we made the 30 min drive and they were closed). I am not a big fan of ice cream but even I crave it. You will not be disappointed. Yum! read more

We stopped here on our way out of town due to the high rating on Yelp. It did not disappoint!! This ice cream joint is legit and was delicious! I had the s'mores and malt flavors--both were unique and actually tasted like what they advertised! Highly recommend it. read more

I love this place. Deanna is amazing. She was my boss in high school and this was such a great job to have after school. She always has the best ice cream flavors, customer service is the top priority and you can sample as many flavors as you want! Support local and check this place out vs a corporate chain. read more

I scream, you scream we all scream for ICE CREAM!!! Love this place! Friday night ice cream flight is innovative! An array of flavored for you to try or share! In addition to fabulous ice cream selection, the have sandwiches and wraps to boot! Sandwiches are meal sized, flavorful and serve by friendly attentive staff! I recommend getting your dessert first to make sure you always have room! I am stingy with stars I feel that there is always room for improvement. That said this IS the place for ice cream in Howard! Thanks Dee! read more

The ice cream is good but the prices are quite high. I have been here twice and the service was okay but could use improvement. I probably won't be back as I feel you don't get a better value at other places. read more

Wonderful ice cream shop and we continue to repeat. I had the cookie dough and it was jam packed with greatness.

I was very disappointed. Rude employee who was constantly texting. Not very clean either.

The icecream was by far the best choice in the area. I love Madison icecream. They had around 20 different flavors that all tasted amazing - it was hard to decide which to choose because I liked them all. We were in the middle of a road trip and stopped for icecream, If we do the same we will stop again. read more

I will not be going back to Brain Freeze. They've gotten very skimpy with their servings and when my husband was being checked out the guy didn't even ask if we had the rewards. When I went to the counter to ask that the 5 ice creams we'd purchased could be added, he just said, sorry but they could not. Ok fine, but this is the last time I'll visit Brain Freeze. There are other ice creams places to go to. read more

Stopped by here tonight to grab some ice cream. It was a great family treat they have some cedar crest flavors as well as others. It was a little cozy place to grab some ice cream. You might even get a chance to see a packer player or two ( I can't confirm it was one because I was to scared to ask but let's just say I wasn't the only one who noticed) read more

Finally a real ice cream place...reminds me of baskin robbins...definitely coming back

Great selection. A tad pricy but you get a lot of ice cream for the price. I'd go back.
