I provided multiple reference photos and even brought my own human and synthetic hair. Despite that, the final result looked nothing like the style I asked for and was not done professionally. To make matters worse, I was required to pay before my hair was even finished, and I was never given a receipt, even after requesting one. I did not leave until after 4 AM, exhausted, after coming straight from work. The next day, I returned to the shop and even the manager/owner acknowledged that my hair did not look right. I requested a refund multiple times and was refused each time. Instead, they kept trying to get me to come back, even though I clearly stated I did not feel comfortable allowing them to redo my hair after that experience. I ended up having to pay out of pocket just to have the braids removed, Pay again to get my hair redone properly, Lose the money I spent on the hair I brought, since it could not be reused. There was also clear inconsistency in how they handled me. The shop accepts walk-ins daily, but once I raised a complaint, I was suddenly told I needed to schedule an appointment instead of being helped immediately. Overall, I lost time, money, and had to fix a service that should have been done correctly the first time. Poor professionalism, poor communication, and no accountability. If you value your time, money, and appearance, I would strongly suggest going somewhere else. As of today, I have still not received any of my monies back.

In less than 24 hours, the style was completely ruined. The loose hair became tangled and matted, there was visible white product residue on my scalp, and the braids looked unwearable. I contacted the salon the next day to request a full refund, as the style did not hold even one full day. Instead, I was told to "take better care of my braids" and that I should have "known it would look like this." The manager stated there was nothing they could do. This response was unacceptable. A $475 professional style should not fall apart overnight, especially when no unusual activity or neglect occurred. I now have to pay again to have the braids removed, after already spending a significant amount of money and time. Due to the lack of accountability and refusal to resolve the issue, I plan to file a formal complaint with the State of Maryland. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience.

I've gotten overall color, a haircut, and highlights for the same price elsewhere. i've even gone blonde around the same price. Anyway, i only needed a fresh trim on my ends & a minor adjustment to my bangs-- not much done, really. The stylist (Nairi) let me walk out the salon without mentioning the bangs being cut so short. She managed to hide it until i got in the car & at that point, i needed to be somewhere at a certain time so I couldn't even go back to complain. I've had many stylists make mistakes & not apologize to me before I leave the chair, which is so infuriating. It's also why I rarely ever get my hair done anymore, unless i really needed to, but now I might just learn how to do my own hair bcs at least if i were to mess up, i'd mess it up for FREE. Funny, i decided to visit the salon this time around so that i don't mess my bangs up before an event coming up just for that to be the main issue.
