Mac n cheese from braglio food truck

Can't say enough about this farm and how far it has come in such a short time! They are always adding new things - expanding their log park for kids, ice cream shop, more seating/fire pits, indoor seating area, pavilion (under construction), their own food truck, food truck nights with guest food trucks, farmers market, the list goes on and on. They have such a homey feel, and the events bring a very diverse crowd and is very family friendly. The market sells delicious cookie, and while I don't eat beef or pork, I hear their meats are great. The food truck Friday events have come a long way already, and they bring lots of options to choose from. Looking forward to many more fun days and nights on the farm

I'm so glad I discovered this farm a few years ago. It's less than 10 minutes from me. I love that they do seasonal activities. In the late Spring/Summertime, they do "Food Truck Fridays" from 4-8pm and also usually have a live band and local vendors. They also host car meets and fun things like "strawberry and watermelon festivals". Sometimes they also do a farmers market on Sundays. They have their own local market that sells meats, cheeses, desserts, jams, etc. They also have a yummy, delicious ice cream shoppe next to the market that sells Taharka Bros ice cream and they use Taharka Bros to make sundaes and milkshakes as well. They usually have their own BBQ truck on site daily as well. If you follow them on social media or check their website, you can see which food trucks and vendors are coming out on Fridays. Their own BBQ is really good, I love the brisket and pulled pork. They used to have ribs that were great but they've taken them off the menu. They have a form on the website if you're interested in signing up to be a vendor with them. I did it once for their Sunday farmers market. It was a good experience. This is definitely my local go-to for yummy ice cream. They also have lots of seatings, picnic tables and a covered pavilion, as well as a petting zoo and wildflowers in the summer. It's just a great place to pack a cooler and hang out with some friends on a sunny afternoon.

I brought my kids to Braglio for their Strawberry Jam event and we had an amazing time. Who knew this gem was tucked away right in Baltimore county? There were food trucks, vendors and music there for the event. But it seems they have regular activities during the week like their petting farm, ice cream shop, kid playground and bbq food truck. It's a beautiful place to get away without having to go far.

Came for the first time to the Friday food truck round up. They are hosting different food trucks each and every Friday until October. I have driven past it plenty of time and always wanted to stop in and see what's it's all about. The parking will be on a gravel lot or a grass field so be prepared. On this day they had 4 food trucks, Italian, Mexican fusion, coffee, and a burger one. Plenty of seating available in a pavilion as well as outside seating. They even have several fire pits surrounded by large logs that you can sit at. I checked out the farm store and they had a variety of local sourced items. They told me their selection will increase as more fruits and vegetables come into season. I brought my dad and daughter out to enjoy the event. They had a great time and it's appropriate for the whole family. You are allowed to BYOB for your adult beverages but they do not allow any outside food.

Same group owns a local Strip Club - The Millstream. An Asian Stripper said they get their meet from this farm and also owns this. The staff were nice here and seemed a clean ambiance food/drinks OK as well. They have family events here that are very nice.

We skipped Sunday brunch for some locally grown meat and it was ok. The farm is family friendly with a playground for kids, vendors for shopping, and plenty of seating outdoors. They have a covered pavilion so no need to worry about the rain if you are unsure. We ordered brisket, pit beef, ribs, pulled chicken, and pulled pork for the proteins and pit beans, mac and cheese, Amish slaw, and collards for the sides. The good, the bad, and the so so... The good - pulled pork and brisket The bad - sweet tea wasn't sweet and lemonade didn't have many lemons to taste The so so - ribs, beef, slaw, mac and cheese, and collards Overall we would definitely go back to try their other menu items such as the country dog, smash burger, and more.

I stopped by for a Friday night food truck event on the farm. Braglio has its own store onsite with an ice cream shop attached. The Braglio food truck served up really tasty options with multiple bbq sauces to accompany the entrees. I opted for the pulled pork over Mac and cheese and throughly enjoyed it. My guy went with the pulled chicken and fries. The farm did a great job of providing seating and fire pits. However, I'm glad we travel with folding chairs so we could spread out and maintain a level of social distance. I highly recommend visiting if they continue this food truck experience. But even if the food trucks aren't present the ice cream options are enough for a return visit.

I came here for the Valentine's Day market and was quite disappointed to see how run down this farm looked. The prices of the meat packs from the farm looked good online but yesterday they were offering bbq for the Valentine's day market, only taking cash and the cost of the bbq was quite expensive considering. There were like no other Valentine's vendors besides maybe one or two and the inside store was small but cute. There was a little floral area available but nothing significant. Overall, I was quite disappointed to the point that I wouldn't want to even come back for a meat pack unfortunately.

Braglio has an assortment of different products. Fresh milk in glass jars, frozen meat, ice cream, candles, flowers, chocolates. This shop is definitely worth going out of your way for-especially when the weather is nice! I highly recommend the healing salve they have for sale as well as the other body products from HickoryRoots Homestead. Very high quality products that are using excellent and organic ingredients and smell great! The sprouts are also very good and organic! Totally recommend giving this place a try!

I would not buy firewood from Braglio farms. The wood is not seasoned and there were many large pieces that needed to be split further.

Easily in the conversation for best hoagies in Maryland. This butcher has been on my short list for a while thanks to its recent fame in the Hoagie Gurus Facebook group, where their Old World Italian has become something of a legend. After finally making the trip, I can confidently say it deserves every bit of that buzz. We stopped in on a Saturday around lunchtime and the place had a steady flow of customers. My wife and I ordered the Old World Italian hoagie along with a hot roast beef and gravy grinder that was running as a special. While we waited, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and we took some time to browse their butcher case. Everything looked fantastic, and we ended up leaving with several packs of house made sausages that were too interesting to pass up, including a chicken crab cake sausage and a brisket cheddar. After a short wait, our subs were ready and they were both absolute units. Since they have a few two tops for the lunch crowd, we did not even make it to the car before digging in. The Old World Italian was exactly what I hoped for. Piled high with Italian meats and cheeses, sharp provolone, roasted red peppers, and prosciutto, all served on a sturdy yet soft seeded roll. The meats were perfectly layered so every bite was balanced and flavorful. No dead spots, no overwhelming salt bombs, just a beautifully constructed hoagie. The hot roast beef grinder was equally impressive. Freshly shaved beef, rich gravy, and melted provolone came together in a way that felt indulgent without being heavy. Comfort food done right. Between the quality of the sandwiches, the welcoming staff, and the incredible butcher offerings, Galvinell Meat is a destination. It is absolutely worth the drive and firmly belongs in any serious Maryland hoagie conversation.

I really want to like this place and I may end up upgrading this review - see below. I drove there…read morefrom Hunt Valley this morning as my usual butcher isn't open on Sunday. Plus Wegmans doesn't have an actual butcher. I was hunting for a top sirloin roast to prepare in the sous vide. This is a nice gourmet store on the grounds of a local farm that sells beef direct to the public. Their beef is apparently pasture raised and they seem committed to natural methods, no antibiotics, etc. I didn't see any mention of certification of organic practices though. The prices in general seem pretty high but maybe I'm a bit of an old fart in regard to prices. The goods were gourmet shop level. A small jar of gravy for example was $12 and a single brownie was $10.00 I was greeted by a nice kid who was helpful but didn't know the difference between a tip sirloin and a top sirloin. Not surprising. He quickly brought over the owner. She seemed pleasant but a bit rushed and wanting to sell me. I asked if they could cut a Top Sirloin Roast for me. They produce their own beef, butcher it, and sell it in their shop. I asked if the roast could include the cap (picanha) piece. That is a standard way of selling a top roast. The owner said they couldn't sell it that way but she could sell me the coulotte steak. This is the same cut as the Picanha or cap just by a different name. I find this odd. If you sell the sirloin steaks and the cap why not just not cut them and sell the whole thing. Or sell me the steaks uncut without the cap. I'd be happy to order it and come back a few days later. The owner was happy to tell me a story about how much I would like the coulotte and how it was a steal at the price. The problem with a cap steak bought separately from the top roast is that 35% of the cap steak is fat. That pushes the average per pound price of the meat up by 50%. Not a great value but I understand why they'd rather sell it that way. The fat cap is helpful in the cooking process (when roasted) but is usually factored into the total price of the roast. I'm the customer, they are a self producing butcher shop. The reason for me to make the effort to drive to them would be flexibility based on their inherent assets and skill set. Certainly they don't have a price advantage seemingly to me. So I bought the 2-3 pound coulotte steak. If the meat has a superior taste, I'll upgrade this review. But if the price is average, the meat is average, and the flexibility of the product are just average then I'll leave an average score. More importantly, I really want to like this place and I really do want to see their model work. I buy $300+ dollars of beef per month and also other meats. I want to find the butcher that will work with me when I have a creative urge. I'm happy to drive past other sellers (Wegmans, John Brown, Amish market) in hunt Valley and spend at least 2 hours of my time but they need to give me reason. Scott Rifkin, MD
