I have to give a shout out Royal, who was manning LDF's vendor space at the Pike & Rose Farmer's…read moreMarket. I was on the phone with a Carnivore reading the menu & Royal was quick on his feet with suggestions & descriptions. Royal even offered me a bottle as a Vegan gesture LOL. While Royal wrapped & packed up my order, he shared LDF's pride on being an all natural meat producer & their sustainability initiatives. LDF also manufactures treats for Canines - Zeus, a raw & natural dog food that's frozen into patties. Theres also little treats laid out for the canine customers, including Jerky Bones. Whether you're looking for Lamb, Rabbit, Jerky or what have you, Liberty Delight Farms has it all. Thanks again Royal for making my non-Vegan shopping experience a fun one.

I recently joined the Liberty Delight Farm Share program and have so far been very satisfied with…read morethe variety and quality of meats I have received so far. They deliver a box of meat right to my doorstep once a month and the program is very similar to a CSA. I decided to take a drive out and see the farm and store and I'm very glad I did. The farm is beautiful and the animals are obviously taken good care of. I was able to meet the owner, who was working in the store. She was very nice and answered all of our questions. She encouraged us to try a cut of meat I hadn't purchased before and gave me some great tips on how to prepare it. The store also has a wide variety of locally made products ranging for bakery items to jams/jellies to some delicious cocktail mixers. They also had a variety of beautiful fruits and veggies. If you are of the growing trend of consumers realizing the importance of knowing where your food comes from and how it is produced, this is a great option. I'm so lucky to have found LD and that the farm is close.

There used to be several Santonis markets around Baltimore. I think this is the last remaining…read morelocation, and the only one I can remember visiting. Though my grandmother used to love and shop at the long closed dundalk location, so I grew up with Santoni's. Oddly enough, if I look out my apartment window, I can see the building where the dundalk store once resided. We needed a pie, because it was pi day. In the past, Jeremy and I have visited much larger, chain grocery stores on pi day, we've come up empty-handed. Santoni's did not disappoint. We got a gorgeous lemon meringue pie, and it was discounted several dollars, which made it all the sweeter. The store is small, but clean with an air about it that suggests that the owners are proud of it. They should be.

If you are waiting, browse the aisles for excellent made-on-premises baked goods and a variety of pantry staples different and more upscale than found in conventional grocery stores. There is no place to sit down and eat; maybe Santoni's missing a bet through this decision? Yes, Santoni's will separate you from your money (an Oatmeal canister is double the cost found in a full-sized grocery), but you will be happy with anything they make here from scratch, and your stomach will be too. In the past they also have done a top-notch job with catering orders. If you are ordering an office lunch, look no further!

We were here to pick up last minute goods for a graduation party. But let's talk about the little sandwiches and rolls they made in the catering department. Those things were delicious! They put them together to perfection, they were ready on time, and they were delicious! We had steak, chicken, and tuna salad little sandwiches on croissants. I'm definitely going to order from Wegmans again, especially those items. They were perfect! But back to the store itself. They will pretty much have everything you need. They have some of my favorite items like frozen jasmine rice in individual packets. You can get them in white or brown. They're both delicious. I also love the frozen vegetables. They have the best selection of frozen vegetables. Especially frozen spinach. Most grocery stores only give you the champ. Spinach, Wegmans will give you the whole leaf frozen spinach. I love that. And their quinoa cakes are divine. They're frozen vegetables and foods. Selection is top notch!

It ended up being about $35 for lunch for 2 which is like restaurant prices. Either way, the food was tasty and I liked being able to sit at the tables outside.

We ordered the khinkali, the eggplant with walnuts, and sacivi. Our favorite by far, was the khinkali. The flavor was awesome, there was plenty of broth, and they were huge (and just like we had in Georgia). The eggplant with walnuts was good as well (though honestly there's nothing like the eggplants (omg or tomatoes) in Georgia!) The savici was also really good, however the portion size was tiny. It was barely a thigh in an entire container and one of the small pieces was just fatty skin, while another piece was cartilage. Overall, we'll head back for the khinkali! We also want to go in person next time because we heard there was a great wine menu and Georgian wines are delicious!

They offer Georgian beer and sodas, and the food is incredible. I highly recommend both the adjarouli and khinkali. My own complaint would be that the servers aren't that personable. They almost act annoyed that you are there. We ordered drinks and when they were brought to the table I asked for some water and was brought an entire pitcher of water, but no glasses. So I guess we were expected to chug our drinks and then refill the glasses with water.
