I've continued having issues with this location. I placed a mail hold with a particular start…read moredate. Up to 3 days after the mail hold start date, mail was still being delivered to my home's mailbox. I called 8+ times to this post office and have sent I don't know how many emails at this point. I talked to one person out of all the calls made who said she'd handle this. No one picked up the phone during the other calls. Upon reaching someone also via email, I was informed no mail hold was in place. That a mail hold would start for me any way and at the end of it I'd have to come and get my mail after showing an ID. I went online to the USPS website, made a copy of the mail hold I'd placed, which clearly had the start and stop dates I'd requested, and emailed the information to this post office. I also pointed out in my email that the mail hold indicated I wanted all mail brought to my home by a carrier once the mail hold end date was reached. This was a very easy request, made online, that turned into a complete mess. It's hard to deal with a post office when this type of request is messed over... and this is the second time this has happened from this same location. I'm awaiting an explanation on the cause and an apology for this madness.

I see a lot of complaints about this post office, but I don't really have any. It does have long…read morelines, especially during people's lunch hours and on Saturday. However, we love our carrier. He's a nice guy and always gets us our deliveries on schedule, completes package pick ups from the front porch, etc. All told, this is a reasonably well run post office.

Very disappointing experience during our passport appointment on Saturday morning. We arrived 25…read moreminutes early for our scheduled appointment. The passport clerk instructed us to leave and retrieve my adult daughter's original birth certificate (which is not required if you are an adult, BTW). But we agreed to cooperate and did exactly that and returned by 10:00 a.m., only to be told we had to reschedule because we were now "late." When I politely explained that we were only late because we followed her instructions, she responded, "You gave me an attitude when you left, and that's why I'm not making an exception for you." I asked to speak with a supervisor, but the decision was upheld by supervisor (Stephanie). I understand policies must be followed, but customers deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect. Policies should be applied consistently, not based on whether an employee believes a customer has an 'attitude.' I hope management reviews this interaction so others don't have a similar experience. I would never recommend anyone to go to this place. there are plenty of other post offices you can go to. If people stop going to this place then they will shut this place down..I think that's what the employees want....I would guess.
