I have lived in this small town for 16 years, and have purchased gas from Bradley since their move to town. I stopped this morning to get gas like I do quite often at 6:30. I'm 55, gray hair, wearing dress slacks, dress shirt and Florsheims with a leather messenger bag type briefcase. I'm riding a 49cc Honda Metro scooter that holds 1 gallon of gas. I am the only person there, and the pump doesn't work. I wait quite awhile, then walk in, where the young man informs me he can't see the license plate so I have to pay in advance. This has never happened before at Bradley in over 10 years. I point out a 49cc scooter has no plate, just a tag. He says, "That's what I would say if I was planning to steal gas." I said "excuse me?" He say's, "That's what I would say too if I was going to drive off without paying." I prepaid $4 - the scooter wouldn't take it all, and I had to wait on the kid for change because now he was outside smoking!
I will never go to this station again in this lifetime!!!!I have never been treated with such disrespect in this town in 16 years! read more
