I had my consultation on June 1, 2026, and as of June 12, 2026, no treatment has been performed despite being in significant tooth pain throughout this entire period. The delay appears to be related to issues with submitting the necessary documentation to my insurance company for approval. Over the past two weeks, I have repeatedly had to contact both the office and my insurance company to follow up on the status of my authorization. I was repeatedly told that documentation had been submitted, yet my insurance company had no record of receiving the required paperwork. As the patient, I found myself acting as the middleman between the office and the insurance company just to try to move the process forward. I also spoke directly with Dr. Gekht regarding these ongoing issues. I was disappointed to learn that the matter would not be reviewed until Monday, June 15, due to office scheduling. Meanwhile, I have continued to deal with unresolved dental pain. Based on my experience, communication, follow-through, and coordination with insurance have been extremely poor. Patients should not have to spend weeks chasing answers, coordinating between an office and their insurance company, and advocating for care while suffering in pain. Unfortunately, that was my experience here, and I cannot recommend this office.
