As far as patient care is concerned, I would give this place 10 stars. They lost me on the cost of…read morethe services. I went in for emergency care because my dentist is Jewish and was worshiping but my wisdom tooth had me in agony. Turns out I had an infection (not cavity) near the bone because of how the tooth was growing ( in an "S" formation close to the root). At the time of the visit, I had taken nearly a bottle of Motrin and could not find relief. The reception and dental assistant were both very gentle and sweet, constantly checking on me while I waited. The wait wasn't ridiculous despite there being about 5 families/ groups ahead of me. After about 30 mins I saw the dr who was a young Jewish guy, very caring and warm. He took his time to look at the images. He explained because of how the tooth was growing they'd have to extract it but because of how it would affect my bite, they had to insert an implant at a later date. What I didn't expect was the projected bill of $11,000 despite having insurance. Baby! I would take that tooth out myself from the pain and that cost. I was flabbergasted. Like why? For transparency I am showing the bill. Thank God he prescribed me some pain medication to help me get through the night and the next morning I went right back to my dentist. Even the next day, his staff called several times to check up on me and see how I was doing. Again, 10 stars on the patient care. That price though is a straight hustle.

I walked into the Lynbrook office in October 2023 and met with the best dentist I have ever had, Dr. Laura Izzo. Dr. Izzo did a complete evaluation and set out a plan, and they were very upfront concerning the maximum possible cost. The plan took several months to complete, and not only did we come in at $1,400 under the aforementioned "max," but the result of their work is a thrilled patient who feels he has teeth (and life) again! Dental365 is my dentist for life!

Finally after a month of visits I finally lost my temper in his office, he sent me to a friend of his in Massapequa. This was only after I insisted that the pain was continuing and that my two knee replacements healed quicker than his tooth extraction. His friend in Massapequa did a perfunctory exam and sent me home telling me there was nothing wrong. Thankfully, I found an oral surgeon in Hewlett, Joshua Wolf who immediately did a test and indicated that I needed to be hospitalized and treated as my jawbone was so fragile that it was in danger of fracturing. I had the surgery at Mount Sinai in Oceanside and a biopsy was done, which indicated that not only did I have an infection, but had cancer in my jawbone. It is still to be determined how much the cancer spread while Dr. Kshonz was insisting that it was healing. At some point I should've been told That the tooth was not healing properly and that I should seek the advice of an oral surgeon. I have been advised that a cosmetic dentist probably should've referred the initial extraction to an oral surgeon. His refusal to acknowledge after weeks of treatment that my pain was not normal, and the fact that it required me to finally throw a temper tantrum in his office Is inexcusable. My family and I used him in the past but his casual approach to what turned out to be a grave matter cannot be forgiven. I never post negative reviews, but my life was actually in danger due to his lack of action. A sore that doesn't heal is an indication of something more than simple pain from an extraction.
