I heard there used to be an actual dock here for boats on the Ohio could pull up. It is a decent outside sitting area as well as big interior. They sell food, non alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages, ice cream and food. They had a country style singer Chris Bell ( I think he's local boy ). In my opinion he is very good and has his own distinct voice. We really liked the no frills atmosphere and staff were always pleasant and ready to answer any questions you might have. Food and beverage are typically priced the same or in order with other locations. We had eaten before we found this place but next time back we will test the food. The wings l looked good and the fish looked like a staple for locals. Many were there to listen to Chris and have some food and a few libations while enjoying the singer. We noticed that they had list of entertainment for the next few days. This location has a beautiful view of the Ohio River especially for sunset pictures. It is located off the beaten path somewhat but pristine in ambiance. Look forward to coming back again for some food. Some don't care for the "place order for food and come back and pick up when ready" but that is just its original style and format. People were all friendly! Can't wait to go back!

I'm very glad they were one of the few businesses that survived the pandemic. I only been a handful of times during the pandemic when they were allowed to be open. The only times I been is when they had their drink specials going on. I went after reopen number 3 and they were having $4 cocktails and I couldn't pass that up. I had their Liquid Marijuana in which I heard of the cocktail before, I never had it. It tasted great but a little in the sweet side. I have had their Adios Mother Ducker cocktail before as well and you would get a small rubber ducky. I will say this place really knows how to make good cocktails unlike most other bars I been to. They have always been right every time. I have yet to try their food and I'm not sure if they were serving food during my recent visit. They are known for live music and DJ dance parties. Idk if I'd be attending anytime soon while Covid is still happening but, I do have future plans for that. They were following Covid precautions during this recent visit as well. The staff has been awesome every visit during the pandemic. I do appreciate that as well. I do plan on returning during my adventures in The Highlands next time.
