We went parasailing on March 16. I must say if you've never done it try it it's the most fantastic experience. You get up there and it's silent and beautiful. We were a little disappointed that we had to go on the Bayside due to wind. But that aside, it was very cool. Getting up and down was very simple. Most people can do it if you can sit on your butt and get up from your butt. Lol. Highly recommend Bradenton beach parasailing. Great customer service and easy to deal with. The only thing I would mention is it make sure they have a camera if you paid for photos. Otherwise we would have taken our iPhone up with us to take pictures. For this reason, I am giving them four stars rather than five. read more

I can't say that I would recommend them, but I believe they have issued a refund for our trip that they cancelled so I am satisfied.

The boat was broken for 3 days before they decided to call us. When they did, which was the day of our appointment, they had no other spots available until after we left town. Avoid if you can. Unreliable boats and poor customer service read more

Our booking for 2 was for 1030am by website. Wanting to add my husband and 2 boys as riders we called and were recommended to switch from 1030am to 12pm so that all may attend. I paid the fee for 2 riders and 3 boat riders to watch. Our entire family. Upon arrival, smoker Captain whatever announced only the other group and the 2 riders plus one could come. My older son volunteered leaving my husband and 6 my 6 year old in tears (child not hubby). I pleaded for a different time to no empathy or avail. After many calls no returns a financial return was made onto our card. I would have rather had a new time for all 5 of us to be able to attend. Disappointed. Having owned 5 restaurants I am surprised that no call was made to explain the females mistake. I can understand mistakes. I cannot respect no response. read more

Being the adrenaline junkie that I am...I asked my bf to go Parasailing in Anna Maria. After reading a lot of reviews on similar companies around the area we chose Bradenton Beach Parasailing. Honestly, we were a bit hesitant at first since there were some Parasailing accidents in the area ( not with this company). However BBP was great and very accommodating. The boat ride was around 2 hours since we were sharing it with 4 older ladies. We were up 500ft-800ft about 10-12 mins. The highlight of the experience was the super fun "dipping" in the middle of the ocean. After about 7 dips I realized "Hey, this is pretty dangerous could be shark meat in any second!". Nonetheless it was great experience and I highly recommend this company. They are very accommodating to your needs and are extremely funny! You can also tell them that you don't want to be dipped in the water. Happy Parasailing!! read more

My parents got a parasailing trip for me for my 29th birthday. We went out on the boat with a family of four, their trips up were fine. When my husband and I went up everything was good until they were bringing us back in and apparently the winch broke on the boat and they had no way to get us back in, they then dropped us into the water and we were dragged around by the sail - with my husband nearly drowning from being pulled at an angle under waves. He had to time his breaths in between and I started to unbuckle my harness to try to get him out of it before I realized that I could pull a cord to shrink the chute. The contacts were sucked out of his eyes, we were being pulled and dunked so badly. The boat finally got to us and they had no ladder to get us back into the boat so we were thrown in onto our necks and both were badly bruised. We were completely freaked out, soaked and beat up. They apologized on the boat and asked if we were okay, but coming back to dock there was a line of people waiting to get on - which makes me concerned that there would be no safety or equipment checks for the next people. They did not charge us for this "experience", but we asked for our GoPro footage, which we had signed up for and they provided us with a SD card, which when we got home we found out was blank. They have some serious room for improvement in terms of equipment checks, preparedness (why isn't there a megaphone to let me know they have no way to bring me in?!? ). I'm so grateful that this happened to two fit young people - I'm haunted by what could have happened if it were children. read more

Had to wait about an hour, even tho we had made an appt. it would have been different if they called and told us we would be waiting for another group and to come a little later. Our first scheduled date was cancelled due to wind but they didnt notify us until we went through the hassle of arriving and it wasnt like the wind had just picked up - it had been the same for at least an hour. The boat trip from the marina to the parasailing spot is taken pretty rough so that they can stay on schedule. However, the staff is all very personable and we really enjoyed our time up - gorgeous view of the whole island. Make sure to tell them if you dont want your feet dipped into the water! read more

We were the last ride of the day and it was really short only lasted approx 10 minutes...and you could tell they just wanted to get it over with...they dipped us once then brought us in..for the price you pay it should last longer then this...I only give them 2 stars for the ride and the captain that was driving the boat only gets one star he was rude...the gentle man that put the harness on was really nice ....there was a confusion regarding the price to have extra passengers to observe and they did work with us...that is the only reason they are getting a 3 star.... read more
