I had to have an expansive filling removed and replaced and felt no pain. I keep repeating it because it amazes me so much to not feel pain at the dentist. Old crown removal, repair of underlying tooth, measurement of area, creation of new tooth and the permanent placement all happened in one hour. He was not forceful or annoyed with it. Which made my husband and I all the more comfortable about him being our daughters dentist.
