I had a terrible accident which resulted in my cracking four of my front teeth. One of which was almost completely gone. I fell face first into the pavement after my dog, as her leash tripped me up. Needless to say I was in immense pain and scared to death from the look of my face, and lacerations . I immediately started looking up dentists after I finally got myself somewhat together and to no surprise I mostly got voicemail boxes instead of talking to a live person. Then I contacted Dr. Toral's office. She answered and took the details of my incident. She then made me an appointment for later the same day! Again on a Sunday! She immediately got me in, gave me a preliminary exam, and prescribed me medication to help with the terrible pain. She was very thorough and reconstructed my teeth good as new in no time! I will forever be grateful to her and her amazing team for their patience, diligence, kindness, and meticulous work making this experience as pleasant as possible. Thank God for leading me to this place. They have a new customer out of me, as I will continue to go here for my regular dentist work as well from now on. Please if you are looking for a dentist look no further. Dr. Toral and her amazing and super sweet staff are top notch! They take their time with each and every patient. You are in good hands here! I was clearly told that a cleaning and x-ray would cost $199. I specifically asked in advance who would be performing the cleaning and even took the time to check her reviews. But when I arrived, I was told someone else would be doing the cleaning--someone I hadn't researched or been informed about beforehand. I've never felt so uncomfortable or unsettled during any of my dental cleaning in the past 30 + years When I arrived, I was shocked to be told that the cleaning would actually cost $850, plus the $199 for x-rays and examination. When I asked for clarification, I was told the $199 only covered x-rays and an exam--no cleaning included. This is completely misleading and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. I've had my teeth professionally cleaned once a year for many years, and dentists consistently comment on how well I maintain my oral hygiene. Charging $850 for a routine cleaning + $199 is outrageous and unjustified. On top of that, the staff was rude and dismissive when I questioned the pricing. I walked out feeling disrespected and scammed. I would not recommend TruCare Dental to anyone. This experience was a total rip-off!!

Everybody including greeting staff to the doctor and assistants were simply just great down to earth people and cared deeply about my concerns and walked me through every step of the way, and even when a slight inconvenience happened like getting extra xrays, they always thoroughly appologized even through it was not necessary. I got my cleaning done today and although the procedure was uncomfortable, the doctor talked me through it all and took breaks to check on me to make sure Im still doing okay. I went yesterday expecting to have my regular hygienist, Kathy, only to find she no longer works on Mondays. When I tell you I was completely freaking out inside at the thought of seeing someone new...well, I was freaking out. I was also irritated they didn't let me know about the change so I could have rescheduled with Kathy on a different day. Larhonda was my hygienist yesterday, and I just can't say enough about her. She was gentle, kind, and she empathized with me that Kathy wasn't there. She got me all the comforts I usually need to get through a cleaning - a soft blanket, nitrous, and a neck pillow (I'm a baby about these things, what can I say). She was very reassuring and customer service skills were just off the charts. So in hindsight, this situation actually worked out well. Now I have two kind hygienists at this practice, instead of just one. Larhonda is an excellent addition, and I'll look forward to seeing her again. She's lovely. All the more reason I will remain loyal to this practice and continue to recommend them to people like me, who have severe anxiety over dental visits.
