I was on hold for an additional 16 mins before someone finally answered. I expressed to her my frustration and she dismissed it by just saying "sorry I had a question at the window. " I asked to speak to the office manager and she puts me on hold for an additional 7 mins. Finally someone that wasn't the office manager answered the phone. This person assured me that the office manager would be calling me back but so far it's been 4 days and no call back. I wanted the name of the original girl that placed us on hold but they refused. I'm going to be making a complaint with their patient relations department and with the Center for Health Care Quality (CDPH). Keeping patients on hold for that long is above and beyond ridiculous and should not be ok.

It's been 9 weeks and the orders are still not with the hospital. I find the staff indifferent to patients and often callous. I'm changing practices and have filed a complaint against the practice. I hate that I had to do that, but other patients need to know what level of care to expect.

I had no idea who to contact for my heart problem. I told a friend in Oregon and he had a friend in Oxnard, Calif. that knew of a Cardiac Surgeon. He was highly recommending Dr. Declusin, so I made an appointment to see him. My wife went with me to see the Dr. and we left feeling completely confident that he was the one we wanted to do my surgery. Just the way he talked put me at ease, so I said ,"lets go for it, the sooner the better." I don't know if he had any problems during the operation, but I sure didn't.
