Staff were welcoming and jovial, joking with us from the beginning. . Very lively fun atmosphere here. Capable of seating a group of 4-6 around tables if needed, We started with a Negroni and a gin and tonic, both made with Jenever. Our food orders were based on other Yelp reviews praising the rubs here: We ordered a normal spare ribs (pork) classic dry rub (comes with salad and two sauces (similar to ranch and thousand island) and a normal mixed. We ordered a baked potato on the side to share, which comes with garlic butter. They also brought plain bread slices on the side. The pork ribs were both tender and flavorful. My husband liked the classic dry rub better than the smoked. The salad was crispy thanks to celery slices. The garlic butter on the baked potato was creamy, strong, and addictive.. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. When we left, we asked the mamager where the sister bar was located exactly and he directed us across the street to Cafe GDG.the adventure continues! Highly recommend!

We kept it classic this time: * The Ribs: Fall-off-the-bone tender as always. They don't over-sweeten the glaze, which I appreciate. * Le Cannibale Royale: The pulled pork on top of the patty is a heavy hitter, but the sauerkraut actually cuts through the richness perfectly. * The Fries: Still some of the most consistent in the city--thin, salty, and actually hot. Service was busy (it's Handboogstraat, so what do you expect?), but the staff was super chill and kept the craft beers flowing. It's loud, it's moody, and it's exactly what I wanted for a late-night feed. Plus, I've noticed they actually take the time to read and reply to feedback here, which is a rare find for a place this popular. Keep doing what you're doing!

Ribs Factory is a small place, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in its BBQ. The ribs were wonderful. I had the Jack Daniels Ribs. They were perfectly marinated in Jack Daniels Whisky. What more could a Tennessee boy want? Well, we want good sides. In Amsterdam, they pair good BBQ with duck fat fries and mayonnaise for dipping. Yum! They also served up some good cole slaw. Ribs Factory was amazing. It was like I was back home in Tennessee.

I had the mixed grill - a plate of lamb, beef, chicken and ground beef plus grilled vegetables. all taste and well cooked. The restaurant is upstairs and you have a nice view of the Leidseplein square down below and I like the interior. Everything is cooked with the big green egg (hence the name) and it was really tasty. They also serve the Brouwerij 't IJ IPA beer which I became a fan of. Service was very friendly, and reasonably fast (I was not in a hurry). So the prices are on the high side (we spend about 40 € per person for food and a couple of drinks) which puts me off a little, but if your in town and look for a good meal then by all means: go here.

After touring the Heineken factory, I asked one of the workers were to get a bite to eat and he told me about this gem and I thank god for that man because oh em geeee. It was down the street too so we just walked on over and it took maybe 10 minutes. My mother and I came in and were sat immediately and given a menu. It's very simple. Half or whole chicken with your choice of a side. Also, it's pretty cheap €14,50 for the half and € 28 for the whole. And for Amsterdam, that's cheap, especially when paying for freshness. The chickens are cooking (where we were sitting) in front of you and it was so juicy and lightly crispy and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I know it sounds weird but for my side I got apple sauce and don't regret it. When I come back to Amsterdam, I will definitely be coming back here.

Apparently the kitchen doesn't open till 6, but they were able to serve me at 5 and I was thankful for that. The meal seemed a little on the pricey side at $29.50 (23.50 euro), but maybe that is the going rate. I'm just visiting so I don't really know prices here. Located on the Rozengracht, it's super central and easy to get to from just about anywhere in the Jordaan or the Center. * The Atmosphere: It's dark, moody, and has a very cool "late-night" energy. It gets incredibly busy, so even though it feels like a "hidden" spot from the outside, you'll definitely want to book a table ahead of time. Overall: A total neighborhood win. One thing I've noticed here is that the bread is always high quality--our sandwiches came in baguettes about 8 inches long --I had to cut mine in half to eat it lol. Both were savory and flavorful and satisfying. The meat was tender and well seasoned. We savored every bite! They both had crispy bacon in them as well. Very filling! Just what we needed to energize us after our morning at Keukenhof!

The pace of service and the rest of the dishes could be improved though. The food was ok-ish. For example, the meats were of good quality, but they were cooked in too much gravy and were served with bland tasting vegetables. Also the cocottes had good tasting mushrooms, but the sauce was overwhelming. The place itself is very welcoming and the staff very friendly. The owner/chef came to our table for a very friendly chat. It has a very intimate and relaxed atmosphere. However, the service is incredibly slow. The bread was delicious and the herring pate, even better! We all decided to get the four course surprise menu which was 32.40 i believe. Each course was delicious. All the meats were cooked and marinated perfectly (I have photos attached to this review of each course). I recommend all of them and it was hard deciding which one was my favorite. I don't think this place is traditional brazilian but brazilian inspired and they did a good job doing their twist on it. Service was also efficient and friendly especially for being a full house! The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is because we all felt the portion sizes were a bit on the small side. The guys at our table left hungry. I was on the edge of still hungry. Also we ordered more bread for our table since we knew the plates weren't going to fill us up. We got charged for each extra bread basket we received.
