I got this company name from Yelp and contacted Chris. We set up a date and time for an estimate and though he texted he was running late, he showed up on time. He would always text me arrival times. Which I always appreciated, so my day wasn't held hostage waiting. He also always showed up on time. The neighbors chose Front Gate from the estimates I sent to them, Im sure it was because of his reasonable price and we went from there. We got a construction date scheduled and Chris and Alejandro showed up on time and got right to work. 80 feet of fence finished ahead of schedule, in one day. After they left, I noticed some planks that weren't lying flat and since I was working also on behalf of the neighbors, I texted that discovery to Chris that evening and he got immediately back to me and that reassured me. The next morning, Alejandro cameout to take a look and he understood where I was coming from and he came up with a solution and remedied the concerns I had, straight away. The fence looks nice and straight and I feel confident that if any problem should arise, I can call and they would make it right. The level of customer service is really remarkable. Very polite and respectful, friendly and easy to work with, they listen and Chris responds to calls and texts in a timely manner. No complaints. His crew worked fast but seemed careless. I pretty much had to stand there and watch them. Quitting time necessitated Chris staying late (1) to adjust the height of the fence; (2) attach the hardware; (3) finish bolting the planks to the frame; (4) go around and finish hammering in the nails all over the new fence because of the sloppy work of the workers; (5) put kick plates onto the gates, (6) provide a back stop so the gate closed properly. Again, I had to stand there, point out what was needed, and directly supervise its completion. A couple of days later, I texted and asks for some addition fencing. He gave me a quote. Several tentative dates came and went. Finaly we made a hard appointment for 0900 today. As of noon...no show. And my texts are being ignored.

They have been repairing two of my neighbors decks for the last few weeks. They left an open deck on a hillside without a barrier or warning tape. They removed the gate on my adjacent property without notifying me which allowed direct access to hillside deck with no railing for four days while they went to another job. I was out of town. Attached is a photo of what I found when I got home. This is how the DeckTech team left the job site. If a neighborhood child went through that gate and fell off my neighbor's deck it could have been disasterous. I asked them serveral times to reinspect my deck which is required for warranty. He delayed me for two weeks stating each time he would be out the following week. I received an email this morning stating I should go to his competetor.
