I've used this service twice and both times they've been very prompt with times we agreed upon.

I have been calling/texting them or their contractors daily for almost 3 months. Since initially calling they have closed their local office, I've been referred to people that never answer the phone or call back, the guy that they did finally assign to my case suddenly telling me that he no longer works for SE and stops responding to me, texts and emails going unanswered. The contractor that they sent out described to me a 4 day job to repair all the issues. SE only approved a minimal repair that took less than an hour. SE is denying that they ever did some of the work accusing me of hiring another company. I told them to contact the project manager or the contractor that did the work 4 years ago to confirm the work, but they refuse to do so. Probably because they also no longer work for the company. I have escalated my concerns to management of SE and they are denying any further repairs. They are not accepting any fault for the work failing. They are trying to claim it's a natural occurrence due to temperatures in my garage. I never had any of these issues before they performed the work. SE should not be referred to do any work! Between the lack of communication, unprofessional workers I've had to deal with, insinuating that I'm lying about the work they completed, my project manager being layed off in the midst of doing my job and having no point of contact, management not calling or emailing me back when they said they would, doing the minimal work possible just to say they're finished with me and closing my file, etc. SE has now shown itself to be a HORRIBLE company to work with and I'm still stuck with this poor work in my garage. No company should see my garage and say this is satisfactory work. This experience was with SE of Macon. They have now closed their office and I've been dealing with the district coordinator. So I can only imagine this work ethic goes across all parts of SE.

We've held off posting a review of the work because we wanted to see how things held up over time. Now the verdict is in. We had our porch screened-in about 15 years ago, but our backyard is steeply sloped and there were flooding problems from the beginning. Combine that with the nuclear fallout level pollen that we deal with in this part of the South, along with the extreme heat during the summer, and what you have is a great idea - a place to enjoy nature during - but only during a portion of the year. A sunroom was always a dream, but it seemed out of reach due to costs. We finally bit the bullet and went to see Ryan at Four Seasons after a home show display, and he came up with a way to make it workable for us. The weather last fall was about the worst possible for construction, so things took a little longer than expected, but Mickey, Josh, and their crews were efficient and professional and completed the work as quickly as possible. They kept us up to date on everything they were doing and made sure that if we had any concerns that they would be dealt with immediately as construction progressed. They were meticulous, making sure everything was done to plan and to spec, and had a good relationship with the inspectors to ensure that things moved along at a proper pace. The materials used were first rate, and after five months of use, it's safe to say they're going to hold up over the long term. There was an additional bonus - we had additional work done in the backyard with the construction of a new patio to deal with those long-standing flooding problems. They worked well with the outside contractor, and the two parties made sure that the side-by-side projects blended well together. The bottom line is that the sunroom is everything they said it would be. It has completely changed the feel of the house, giving us additional room when the grandkids come over. The patio furniture no longer turns bright green in the spring, the cats don't track all that pollen around the house, and the specially constructed and tinted glass keeps the sunroom from turning into a furnace during the heat of the day. It's turned into our favorite room and is used every day. It was money well spent.

Of the 3 screens installed, all at one time or another have failed to stay on track and have to stay in the up position. Totaled waste of $27k. Should have stuck to my guns with the wife and had a regular screened porch installed. Getting the company to respond to service calls is the other problem. Their response to problems is what did you do to cause the problem. Totally screwed. Don't do it to yourself, go with a regular screen porch. Don't talk yourself into the retractable screens like I did.
