SE restoration does not stand by their work and honor their warranty. It's going on 3 months of going back and fourth with them about fixing their poor work done 4 years ago. I have been calling/texting them or their contractors daily for almost 3 months. Since initially calling they have closed their local office, I've been referred to people that never answer the phone or call back, the guy that they did finally assign to my case suddenly telling me that he no longer works for SE and stops responding to me, texts and emails going unanswered. The contractor that they sent out described to me a 4 day job to repair all the issues. SE only approved a minimal repair that took less than an hour. SE is denying that they ever did some of the work accusing me of hiring another company. I told them to contact the project manager or the contractor that did the work 4 years ago to confirm the work, but they refuse to do so. Probably because they also no longer work for the company. I have escalated my concerns to management of SE and they are denying any further repairs. They are not accepting any fault for the work failing. They are trying to claim it's a natural occurrence due to temperatures in my garage. I never had any of these issues before they performed the work. SE should not be referred to do any work! Between the lack of communication, unprofessional workers I've had to deal with, insinuating that I'm lying about the work they completed, my project manager being layed off in the midst of doing my job and having no point of contact, management not calling or emailing me back when they said they would, doing the minimal work possible just to say they're finished with me and closing my file, etc. SE has now shown itself to be a HORRIBLE company to work with and I'm still stuck with this poor work in my garage. No company should see my garage and say this is satisfactory work. This experience was with SE of Macon. They have now closed their office and I've been dealing with the district coordinator. So I can only imagine this work ethic goes across all parts of SE. read more

this company came right out and pulled wet carpet and dried out the basement. then the fun began. Their movers GA Pack Out. mishandled out belongings . Them asbestos removal happened their company Balco tore put everything but the toilet and tub . They also cut a pipe and did not cap off and when we got home after a bath more water leaked as they cut a pipe. so then the restoration company charged my insurance and myself for that 5000$ . I had to pull all of the room and vent sealing left by the asbestos company . they also sprayed over all the out lets and ruined my voltage lighting system and left mirror and windows outside in the rain mirtors by my pool. They did not clean up a lot of their mess I had to. after 2 weeks finally they sent someone to do an estimate and he talked about how odd my families home was and said it looked like a school house. Anothet week and I still had no estimate . finally I got it and it dis very incomplete. I'm trying to talk to them but they refuse to contact by ail at all and don't return calls. as mad as I am I don't wasn't anything from these people but my things back. I can't get two room of my 96 year old fathers things returned and y will not call. This is a horrible experience and they are not good. it has been 2 months they have collected 40 k from USAAs d I have an empty space torn apart . read more

Had roof leak which drained into ceiling of garage. SE never found source of leak. Time between initial inspection and getting around to repair seem excessive even insurance had already approved the repair. When finally doing the repair, they did not cut out stained sheetrock, but instead just sprayed over the stained area with what appeared to be black mold with Kilz and then painted the ceiling and walls. Did a nice paint job with painting. Kilz did not stay in telephone contact with me. It seemed like I had to initiate the calls to them, and then I had to call back. Not sure I will ever use Southeast Restoration again. Thinking if I have future problems I will find my own contractor acceptable to my insurance company. read more

We had Southeast Restoration Group come to our home to do two different jobs, both flood/water damage. Their response time was very impressive, which was important to us when it comes to our home. The communication from the first phone call and through the entire process was very much appreciated. The gentlemen that showed up and worked on the job were very professional and friendly. They were also very thorough in making sure the water was cleaned up and dried properly to keep from further issues down the road for us. By far, the absolute worst experience I've ever had. After 10 months of dealing with continuous mistakes on what should have been a 6 week job, I finally gave up. They damages my runs and tile walls, their solution was to spray an overcoat on them which is already peeling off. Do yourself a favor and don't use this company for ANY home repairs. read more
