Recently we had them come out for a sewer pipe inspection from another plumbing company which provided us with a yearly scope of our line. They discovered a slab leak underneath our home due to a shifted sewer line. The estimate to fix the line was very high. We decided to get a second opinion, so we called Clearwater. Jason and Andrew were able to come out immediately to check the line. They ran a camera through the line and did see the disconnection but further under our slab, quite a bit further than the other company noted in their estimate. Jason gave us a quote that was much more affordable. Jason told me the excavation crew could be there the next day. The excavation company Clearwater uses was wonderful. I've never seen 3 more hardworking individuals. It was amazing they were able to dig a 10' tunnel under our slab in less than 3 hours. A day later, Jason and Andrew from Clearwater arrived to take care of the repairs, schedule the final inspection and testing and get the excavation company to backfill the tunnel. Clearwater seamlessly took care of a major repair with finesse and professionalism. If you need a plumber, Clearwater is the one to call. Update, a few days later, we discovered a link in the plumbing under our kitchen sink. Due to me being an amputee and my wife with a broken right wrist, we were not able to make the repairs ourselves. After another plumbing company scheduled an appointment for us and then later canceled it with no explanation, we called True Plumbing on Monday morning. Eric from True Plumbing showed up when he said he would, took a quick look at our problem, and explained the three possible causes of the leak, along with how much each would cost to fix if said problem was found. The area would have to be minimally excavated to locate the underground leak. He was very up front about what the diagnostic process would be and what the repairs would entail for each of the three possible scenarios, including what he would do to avoid damaging the driveway. Eric was transparent, very easy to communicate with, and obviously a knowledgable, experienced plumber. After that five-minute conversation, my husband and I both felt 100% comfortable hiring True Plumbing to come back with a team to excavate the problem the next day. True Plumbing got to work when they said they would, the day before Christmas Eve no less. Sure enough, the problem was scenario #1 on their list of three possible causes of the leak. A decade before we bought the house, the sprinkler system had been connected to the house's water pipes using an illegal part that had finally failed. True Plumbing said that since sprinkler technicians are not certified plumbers, problems like that are common. Be careful who you hire to tamper with your water pipes! True Plumbing fixed the leak and we had water restored to the house within a couple of hours! The cost ($800) matched the verbal estimate to the penny. As a business owner myself, I believe in taking care of customers and honoring commitments. If I have to do the job myself, I do it--I don't cancel on clients who are depending on me. However, Zach came out later that same day for the estimate, and he completely changed my impression. He was professional, honest, hardworking, and got straight to the point.
