I stop by, make my return in the very clean Mens room and go on my way. Don't worry, I make a purchase. I feel it is the least I can do, since I used their facilities. I typically grab another cold drink, or a package of my favorite candy, M&M's. My recent visit gave me a shock. I saw a cabinet with liquor and bottles of wine. Is something new, or have I just not noticed it in my regular QT's? If it is a new offering, I am sure they'll have a buyer for it, not matter the price. The gas is no longer Phillips 66, it is now Mobil. The signage and retail products inside is now all On The Run. During the transition, I strayed and started going to the QT up the street. i quickly loss interest in their offerings and customer service and started to come back here. I am so glad that I did. It is actually better now then when it was U Gas and I really liked them. I've needed to grab an easy breakfast/lunch for work and have been impressed with the offerings from OTR. The same folks have been there for years and will ask you about your day or tell you to feel better if they see you buying some cold medicine. After 11 they do close the door and complete transactions though the window but hey, that's perfectly reasonable and safe. It's true they are a couple of cents more per gallon than the conglomerates but I'm happy to spend that to support the owners and nice people who work there. If you're in TGS this should be your go to gas station!
