Not the best experience
Recently booked our car in for a Full service, and specifically wanted a few extras done at the time - including Diff Oil change, and Brake Fluid change. All of this was specified at time of booking. Service day and heard nothing all day and phoned at 5pm to be told it would be ready to be picked up (they closed at 5:30pm) Raced there with minutes to spare and was given the invoice which made no mention of the extras I had requested. They hadnt been done. To say I was a bit unhappy is an understatement, but the manager was very nice and did a great deal on getting it back in and to do the extras I had requested. We thought this was an end to it all.
Immediately after we got the car back, the car was not braking properly. Almost as though the ABS was coming on at very slow speed stopping. Rather than take it back to them yet again, I had a mobile mechanic check it out. The bleed screws on the rear callipers had been rounded off, and couldnt be undone to check for air in the system as this is what the cause appears to be. New Calipers required. So either BP Rolls have rounded these off upon refitting when they bled the brakes, or they were like that to start with and they did not bleed the rear system after refilling with new fluid and decided theyd just hope for the best.
I also had an automated reminder for the cars MOT, 2 days after it had been with THEM for MOT and passed. All of this does not really fill me with confidence. Perhaps it was jut a blip, but it does put me off going back to them again. Particularly with the brakes, which is a safety issue read more
