Old guy tells younger guy. He said "OK". I go back to the machine and wait for them to come and fix it. They never took one step away from behind the register and I was the ONLY customer in the store. I fixed the machine, the container holding the mix was put in incorrectly. I go to the register to pay and explained that I went ahead and fixed the machine & neither of them would even look up at me. Go outside to leave and my car battery was dead. Again, I was still the only customer. I go back in and ask if either could help me. I had jumper cables. Old guy said: "No. I'm not using my battery to do it." Younger guy said: "Don't you see I'm working? No." I went back outside and thankfully a customer pulled up. I asked him for help and he immediately said, "of course." While my car was being jumped, the two employees came outside, stood by the front door... Started talking and laughing it up as they smoked. The gentleman helping me asked if I had asked them for help and I explained what had happened. He suggested I take pics and I did. He told them directly, by the front door, that he will be taking his business elseware and they just laughed at him. Disgusting employees? Yes! However; even worse, human beings. I only dock a star because I don't actually buy gas here. The price tends to be a few cents more expensive than the Turkey Hill, Sunoco, and Speedway all just a few blocks south.

Stopped in for gas and got in and out quick on the holidays. Their fuel prices are good and…read moreusually cheaper than the majority of the Columbus area. Employees are generally friendly. Several issues: 1. Air pump is more often broke than not. Pump is not ideally placed to stop people waiting for air from parking you in if you use their customer parking. I have waited 10 minutes to leave after shopping because customer would not move and lose their place in line. 2.They do a poor job of keeping the paper towels and washer fluid full. 3. Employees do nothing to keep the panhandlers away from the front door, they try to get you coming and going, and do nothing to keep them away when you are at the pumps. With the bus stop in front of their store, seems like there is always someone begging. There is a police officer or security guard always standing around inside the store, why not have him come out and run these people off. 4. Charge more for the same product charged inside the store and do not accept specials that giant eagle has in the weekly circular. If coke is on sale, I shouldn't pay 40% buying it from the same person in your parking lot.

It's the first time I've been to a GetGo gas station and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. There aren't any gimmicks here, no super fancy diner, no real restaurants attached to it. There is absolutely nothing making this Gas Station any better than most standard Gas Stations out there, only there is. When you can excel in customer service, you've absolutely won the game. Two of the nicest, and quickest staff members I've ever come across at gas station. I can't remember the exact name of the gentleman that rung me out, but he was a baller. He sparked a conversation with me and made me feel welcome, like he wanted me there. Wasn't in a hurry to get me out of there, the feeling I typically arrive to when I'm at any gas station. He was more than willing to treat me like a person, bravo. On another bright side, they were very well stocked, and I think that goes still with the two employees I saw working there. They had the Deli food stocked to a tee and I felt like I had some real choice in what to eat, which is great. I wont highlight the food too much, it was decent but the overall experience and the people they have working there make this a 5 star experience. I'm here to highlight those great customer oriented employees I come across. Keep up the work, don't lose the magic.

Tonight, and another time about 3 months ago, their fuel pump said my fuel perks redemption was not available. I asked the clerk inside about it and they explained that I need to have made a purchase inside the store in the past to be allowed to redeem my perks. And it needs to be 24 hours after my purchase so I couldn't purchase something right there and then redeem my perks. That didn't work for me since my gas tank was already on fumes. Maybe this is a new policy since GetGo got bought by Circle K, but I don't think it's enforced at all GetGo as I've never bought anything inside the store at the Clintonville and Grandview GetGos and am still able to redeem my perks at those 2 locations. Also, it's silly to force me to buy a drink/snack/whatever at this GetGo since there's a Giant Eagle Market District literally in the same parking lot where the same items are cheaper and earns the same perks! I'll have to avoid this GetGo going forward.
