Old guy tells younger guy. He said "OK". I go back to the machine and wait for them to come and fix it. They never took one step away from behind the register and I was the ONLY customer in the store. I fixed the machine, the container holding the mix was put in incorrectly. I go to the register to pay and explained that I went ahead and fixed the machine & neither of them would even look up at me. Go outside to leave and my car battery was dead. Again, I was still the only customer. I go back in and ask if either could help me. I had jumper cables. Old guy said: "No. I'm not using my battery to do it." Younger guy said: "Don't you see I'm working? No." I went back outside and thankfully a customer pulled up. I asked him for help and he immediately said, "of course." While my car was being jumped, the two employees came outside, stood by the front door... Started talking and laughing it up as they smoked. The gentleman helping me asked if I had asked them for help and I explained what had happened. He suggested I take pics and I did. He told them directly, by the front door, that he will be taking his business elseware and they just laughed at him. Disgusting employees? Yes! However; even worse, human beings. Like everything else on High Street, getting in and out of this place during rush hour, or nearly any hour of the day can be a bit difficult, especially if you are traveling northbound. The store is clean and well lit, as are the outside areas, and the staff is friendly. They carry all the typical convenience store products, such as chips, coffee, energy drinks, and of course gasoline. I've never been to a Meijer before, so I can't say if they have a fuel loyalty program similar to Kroger or not. All in all, this place is a solid convenience store, but like most convenience stores, nothing to write home about.

I try to keep about a half a tank of gas in the car in case of an accident or a detour or other possible delays when traveling. I was looking for a station to get gasoline and saw that Meijer had gasoline for $2.67 a gallon! Traffic on Rt. 23 south is really crazy and getting into the the right lane to turn in was an adventure all by itself! But the adventure had a great ending.... gas for $2.67 a gallon! They also had chips and soda inside that I could grab and take with us after refueling. The people inside were very nice and quickly processed the order for my gas and snacks. This is likely a place where I will stop again on my way back to the north side after seeing my doctor in Lewis Ctr.

It's the first time I've been to a GetGo gas station and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. There aren't any gimmicks here, no super fancy diner, no real restaurants attached to it. There is absolutely nothing making this Gas Station any better than most standard Gas Stations out there, only there is. When you can excel in customer service, you've absolutely won the game. Two of the nicest, and quickest staff members I've ever come across at gas station. I can't remember the exact name of the gentleman that rung me out, but he was a baller. He sparked a conversation with me and made me feel welcome, like he wanted me there. Wasn't in a hurry to get me out of there, the feeling I typically arrive to when I'm at any gas station. He was more than willing to treat me like a person, bravo. On another bright side, they were very well stocked, and I think that goes still with the two employees I saw working there. They had the Deli food stocked to a tee and I felt like I had some real choice in what to eat, which is great. I wont highlight the food too much, it was decent but the overall experience and the people they have working there make this a 5 star experience. Several issues: 1. Air pump is more often broke than not. Pump is not ideally placed to stop people waiting for air from parking you in if you use their customer parking. I have waited 10 minutes to leave after shopping because customer would not move and lose their place in line. 2.They do a poor job of keeping the paper towels and washer fluid full. 3. Employees do nothing to keep the panhandlers away from the front door, they try to get you coming and going, and do nothing to keep them away when you are at the pumps. With the bus stop in front of their store, seems like there is always someone begging. There is a police officer or security guard always standing around inside the store, why not have him come out and run these people off. 4. Charge more for the same product charged inside the store and do not accept specials that giant eagle has in the weekly circular. If coke is on sale, I shouldn't pay 40% buying it from the same person in your parking lot.

HOWEVER, I do NOT appreciate the fact that they don't allow customers to use the restroom. I have been with my young niece and she really had to use it and they wouldn't let her. Another time, I had to use it as well and was not allowed. They say its because people do drugs in there. There is no reason all customers should be penalized because of the mental illness/addiction of our neighbors. Another problem area for me is the manner in which the fountain machine is kept. Most of the time it is dirty.

Fairly easy street access, although there are several one-way entrances so be careful when you're leaving. Friendly service inside, helpful. Godspeed if you ever stop here and need something. Chances are the only thing you can get is robbed or hassled by panhandlers.
