But prices aren't super low; in fact, some are high. $1.79 for a 2-liter? Big bags of chips, at big prices. If you want a vat of mayo, or a case of burgers, you can get a reasonable deal. But it's usually not worth my time. It's clean, and well-organized, and service is good. So there's that.

With all the bars around, we didn't close until 3am. And I had to deal with all the drunks. But the Subway is managed separately from the gas station (although they share an owner). The gas station is 24 hours, and the cashiers were always friendly. We would keep each other company a lot of times, or back each other up if people got really unruly. There used to be a TCBY in there too, but I am fairly certain it's gone now. Standard beer selection, nice layout with the attendant station in the center between the entrance and exit doors, and usually pretty clean, particularly considering its campus location. As far as gas stations go, it also has a fair amount of parking and pumps. One of the bigger drawbacks is that it can be difficult to get into and out of being right at the corner of Neil and Lane.

Took longer than originally estimate, but that can be expected especially if you have an afternoon appointment. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want and even reset the tire pressure to what I like to run for gas mileage. (Saturns are like Goldilocks about what tires and pressure those tires are set, get it wrong can cost up to 5 mpg) Having long hair and boobs, I have to be careful who I have work on my 17 year old baby. Some shops see someone that they can fool and make a HUGE profit. But I am those types of shops biggest nightmare, a female that knows cars and what it should cost that also have a big mouth. Maybe that is I always have repair shop tell me that the car is in great condition.

They have American Spirit cigarettes for about .50 less than many stores. The help is friendly. There's protective glass at the counter and it's one of those places where they lock the doors in the evening so that you have to do your business at a walk up window.
