I purchased a bag of cheese mix for 2 dollars and a Concha Blanca for 1 dollar. The cashier rang it up ,never said the total and I was looking down at the rest of the on sale snacks as I handed him a 10 dollar bill. He handed me 2 dollars and the change automatically came out. I said these were on sale 2 dollars and 1 dollar. He said you should have told me. Excuse me I don't make the prices. I expressed to him I would like a refund and gave him the 2 items back. What I purchased on sale wasn't worth 5 dollars more. And they had expired in April 24 2025 that's why they were marked down. He explained to refund my money it was connected to the internet which had been messing up off and on all day. So there was nothing he could do. I'm sure that there was something iff I chose to push the issue,cause ima have a good day either way. Please don't make an excuse up on your incompetence of your job in not knowing how to void purchases.But I must say he was apologetic.

I went in there and practically begged for assistance because with my request it was probably easy to say "no." All four of my tires were low on air and every time I try to use one of those air pump things I can never get it right. Plus I have a very hard time squatting. (Who are we kidding, I can't squat.) There were only women working there and in my mind I was thinking, "Oh no," cause usually guys are better at this sort of thing. just how it is. I am a woman and I am saying this. I told the cashier my dilemma and asked if anyone was available to help. Honestly, I was willing to take no for an answer. She referred me to the Store Manager who was happy to help. Like me, she was not 100% familiar with the process, but she said, "We'll learn together." Ha, ha! Sweet. We went to my car, and I helped by holding the little caps and reading the screen. Even the screen was not working, so I took out my tire pressure gauge which I did not really trust for accuracy and had trouble reading/using. Working together, we got all four tires inflated. She did most of the work, though. I thanked her profusely and then proceeded to vacuum my car cause it needed it. So thank you, thank you, thank you, Holly Ridge Circle K for going above and beyond today. It made a real difference for me. I pulled up to a line of at least 20 cars (not including those at the pumps) at 2:46. By 3:00 I was on the road again with a full tank of gas. It was a masters class in traffic control and organization. They smartly closed off all but one entrance, and had one person there giving instructions (you can fill up your car and one container only) in a friendly manner. Another guy was watching the pumps to signal to the first guy where to direct cars. A third was on hand to deal with any problems before they were actually problems. This could have been chaotic, stressful and a huge waste of time on my vacation. Instead it was a beauty to watch and I was out before I could believe it.

I have a texts and emails saying that fuel from 4-7pm will have a disco of $.40 per gallon of fuel. Pumped at 4:08 but there was no disco. I asked 2 different employees why the .40 was not applied, all they could say is that it never switched prices. 12 minutes after I pumped at 4:20 the prices finally changed. To my frustration, both employees and the manager, by way of phone, said they will not honor the discount... all claiming dis-responsibility. I explained to all 3 that I had done exactly what the Text and Email from Circle K said and yet they doubled down that it wasn't their fault nor will they do anything about it. I accept it wasn't their fault but to not offer a disco, refund or a store credit? So everyone who followed Circle K's instructions correctly before price changed 20 minutes late will not be receiving the promised $.40 a gallon disco. This is not only poor customer service but poor management. 24.518 of fuel X .40 = $9.8072
