Wawa has always been a staple for me and this new location completely lives up to the hype. If you're trying to figure out what to order, you can't go wrong with the chicken biscuits, sausage biscuits, scrambled eggs and their amazing coffee. The mashed potato bowl with roasted chicken is my teenage daughter's favorite and the turkey sub is elite (pro tip: their honey mustard is the absolute best!). The chicken & corn chowder is also fantastic. Their new tacos, fried chicken sandwich and fruit smoothies with added protein are a must for my teenage son as well as the milkshakes. Beyond their yummy food & drinks, the friendly service here is wonderful and the bathrooms are consistently clean. This new location deserves 5 bright, shiny stars. Thank you, Wawa, so glad you're finally here!

It is attached to a gas station. There was a line of about 3 people ordering from the deli. Reminded me of WAWA right away!! The lady behind the counter was OK - not rude, but not very friendly either. I ordered roast beef sandwich, no mayo, with cheese. I asked what kind of veggies they have, she said "just about everything". I asked for red peppers, then she proceeded to name the about 5 different veggies they actually had (lettuce, onion, banana peppers, and some other standards). I asked if they have provolone cheese, she said no, just cheddar, american and swiss. I opted for swiss, and as she was putting it on, I verified that it was swiss, since it looked like american and had no holes. She said it was a swiss-american blend. I paid about 5.50 for a decent sized sandwich on a roll and potato wedges. Pretty great deal! The bread was actually marginally better than some other rolls I've had in Wilmington. The cheese tasted very much like American!! Besides the yucky American cheese (not ordering this "blend" again), it was pretty good! The wedges were very delicious. I would stop here again if I need lunch on the way home.

It has many if not all of the things you're looking for. During the summer, they even have DIY ice cream sandwiches! Who doesn't want to make and customize their own ice cream sandwich? No one, that's who. There were so many things I wanted to buy when I visited, but I just ended up with a to-go cup of bulletproof coffee, which is basically coffee with butter in it. I don't follow keto eating practices at all, but I do like a good cup of bulletproof coffee, because when it's made right, it's smooth and butterscotchy and delightful. The bulletproof coffee at The Veggie Wagon was all of those adjectives! There's a little produce stand outside of the store, which is quite cute and quaint. When you go inside, you'll see even more locally grown produce items. We were around for tomato and berry season, so that's what was available. There's lots of parking here on the side of the building, and picnic tables out front in case you want to stay a while and enjoy your goodies on site.
