I called the local Brooklyn Pep Boys, they said I'd have to come in and get a ticket and then they would see me to get wiper fluid in about 90 min from the time I get the ticket. Am I in an alternative universe?! What is happening? So I just randomly called this Sunoco and a super friendly guy answered the phone. He said "no problem. Come on over," or something like that. I drove there and he freaking greeted me without me getting out of the car. He could obviously tell I was the frantic girl w/ a wiper fluid issue. I don't know squat about cars. I asked if I could see were he pulled the lever to release the hood, and my request for a tiny car maintenance lesson was granted. He put the wiper fluid in; he did it all super quick. The whole thing was beautiful. In & out in less than 5 min and customer service is 100%. THIS is where I'll always stop on my way to Costco now. Kudos!

You can not only get gas, but wash your car and purchase air for your tires. The place is always clean, and they do have quite a bit of traffic in and out. It's quite a walk to the nearest corner store, so they pull that traffic. My only complaint is that they have a lousy potato chip selection.

Their bathroom is roomy and usually clean, that's what I stop in here to use most. For those of you who are coffee nuts they have a standard Coffee station. They've got your standard selection of snacks and drinks in the fridges. They also have a small utility section for bits for your car or house. Nothing major but its there so that's a plus. This place really shines because of the built in food counter. They have their own deli inside the "Bolla Market". They've got a whole bunch of refrigerated cold sandwiches and salads that are pre-made. They also make any cold sandwich fresh on request. They serve a variety of "hot foods" that changes every day. Some-days they've got some really good Lasagna, other days I've seen grilled fish, sausage and peppers are common, Penne w Vegetables in Oil, Home Potatoes, Lemon Chicken, Roast Fish, Mashed Potatoes, etc. It's different every day. Of course they have a hot grill for hot sandwiches too, but I'm not to sure which hours its open. I've come around as early as 2pm and it was closed, but have seen it open as late as 8. They also have a Hot Dog Station with Hot Dogs. Jalapeno Sausages, and a few Taquito-esque items. The only complaint I have about this place is that I managed to buy an expired Entamins item. I'm not sure how it happened, but I went back a few hours later to warn them and the item was removed (though nothing offered for my trouble. Overall the employees are friendly, I've never seen anyone be rude, though they might have one or two guys who are a bit slower then they should be at a Gas Station/Food Mart. Oh, for the record the Gas they offer is BP.

They tried to have my review removed for not enough information. Well, I would recommend you call her requesting a tow or any other AAA service and find out what they are made of. I have even complained to AAA regarding their prioritizing whether someone will come out or not based on whether they have anything else going on in the moment. Its all about how much they can get from you at the moment. Clearly, they know return business is not their strength. This isn't my first encounter with this company. Whether it's at the pump or regarding a service. They are always out to get the best of you. Buyer Beware!

Not Handy: When the miserable human being that rented my Zipcar previously leaves me with no gas. Handy: This conveniently located Shell Station. It's just as exorbitantly priced as the rest of the gas stations in NYC, but since Zipcar is paying, it really doesn't matter to me. What does matter, is that as you're standing there waiting for the tank to fill up, there's a nice little TV screen at each pump that shows various clips like the ESPN Play of the Day. And after a long, horrible day...you appreciate the little things. You reminisce about a simpler era, when you had the time to watch and appreciate sports. Then you go back to daydreaming about winning the lottery that you never actually buy tickets for. __________ *And even if I did, I wouldn't give you a ride because you NEVER throw down for gas money. Been taking my cars to this shop for about 18 years. They are good at fixing cars, honest and very…read morereasonably priced. They will not push you to do work you don't need and they will advise you on how to fix your car as best as possible based on your budget. Right now this is the only repair shop I trust wholeheartedly. The one drawback is that you may have to wait several days to get an appointment because they are very popular (it's a small shop with only two mechanics - Joe the owner and his assistant) but they will work with you if you have an emergency, you will just have to wait an extended amount of time to get the car back. Whenever you drop your car off, be prepared to wait the entire day for the repair or possibly until the next day, but your car will be fixed right and they won't spring any surprises on you. If there's some other issue with the car, they'll call you and ask you what you want to do. I really like these guys they have integrity.
