It was snowing outside, so that sucked, but I can't really blame the gas station for that. Frantic to find somewhere open on a holiday, I called and they said they were open. I came in and explained the situation, and the woman working the counter was so kind - clearly she was booked to the gills and didn't have time to work in another appointment, but she moved things around for me so that they could run a quick diagnostic on the car. Located the problem and fixed it quickly. You really can't ask for more from a small town service station -- and apparently if I'd come during normal hours there's a country store and other stuff in addition to the car service! They saved me a lot of stress by making sure everything was good to go before the long car ride home. A++

One time, long ago (probably years), I was distracted by a friend and pulled off in my car with the gas pump still attached ‍. The lady who assisted me with the situation still works there, and while she was a little flustered, she never seemed angry or upset with me. She handled the situation perfectly, and I think about it every time I go in there and see her. Hopefully, she doesn't think of the situation every time she sees me .

Gas station time!…read more Let's go to the trusty default three star Yelp gas station review check list: Good price? It was a decent price a few weeks ago when I was there but it's also hard to compare seeing as it's the only gas around for probably about twenty plus miles. The nearest gas to this place is maybe, back in Luray which is a bit of a hike if you're running low. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? No, as everything was gas station clean and there was a girl scout cookie sale going on out front which was neat as seemingly everybody pulling up for gas/going into the quickie mart knew each other. Kind of neat yet kind of also kind of Stepfordishly freaky. Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? Check! On/Off Route 211 was a breeze. Human intervention needed? No, as the CC terminal worked as expected and we were on our way in no time. Three star gas station bliss achieved!
