Stopped in to pick up a cheap styrofoam cooler and some ice - had bought some meat products at a local farmers market which I has not planned on - and wanted to keep the product cold. No dice! Or I should say - they don't carry any coolers - just ice. I picked up some cold bottled water and asked to use the restroom. They directed me around back - turns out it is a Porta Potty/Dons Jon facility - not an actual restroom. They have all the normal convenience store goods here - soda, water, snacks, basic toiletries and supplies. Gas pumps outside. Staff was friendly and apologetic about not having coolers.

I attempted to use Apple Pay - but the pump did not respond. When I went inside, I asked the cashier about - he confirmed that their pumps do not currently support Apple Pay. Was disappointed that this is the case. Most other gas stations I frequent do support Apple Pay at the pump. #SouthernStatesGasStation

I'm so glad we have a Buc-ee's in VA! i'm going to have to start another savings account just so i can buy more stuff. i bought way too much from here. the food, snacks, candy, bakery, desserts, drinks, etc. are all on point. prices are incredibly reasonable. employees are amazing, they do such a great job working as a team and keeping this huge place clean, organized, and moving smoothly. the restrooms are great too, spacious and clean with plenty of toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels. This place is dangerous.

Knew that we were going to stop at Buc-ee's, bc of course. They have a basket of bananas, and I picked a pristine one if not *slightly* green at the neck. Check out. $0.55. We walked 45 feet out the adjacent exit and ate the banana right outside the slider door so I didn't have to have an empty banana peel stuffed somewhere in the car for the next several hours. It was black to the core on the inside halfway down the banana, like the kind of black you don't keep eating, not just a surface bruise. Since it was clearly bad and it was ONE MINUTE after I bought the banana, I figured they'd be like - no problem, we'll make it right, it's a $0.55 banana. So we walked right back to the same cashier who had sold us that single banana one minute prior and showed him the black banana and asked if I could just get a replacement banana and he said it was too late. One minute, black banana, same guy. $0.55! So yeah, that's absolutely nuts. Do better, Buc-ees. That's really messed up. I was really looking forward to a banana.

She should not be granted the gift of working anywhere, let alone with public. The food was okay ... in other words, it did what it was supposed to do - which is to fill my belly, and thats it. The trashy way I was treated, more like a nuisance than a human being and paying customer, ultimately won the prize for worst meal ever. Take a wild guess if I'll be back LOL!

He literally said to me "I'm old and not going to learn this computer crap". Age aside, anyone refusing to learn how to do a part of their job shouldn't be doing that job.
