When the Indian guy that runs the register is there he looks and watches everyone like they are up to no good. It made me uncomfortable. It's like that small town all eyes are watching you if you're from out of town feeling. If you know what I mean. This is a good area and I think it's a bit much... Anyway, my kids love getting ice cream from here because of the ice cream bar. They have a roping bar and there are no rules or signs anywhere about usage. Topping are included free with ice cream purchase and everything racetrac has station I have ever been to. But on our visit today, the Indian guy (Sorry I don't know his name) thought that since my son put a spoon of peanut butter chips in the lid that is provided for the ice cream, and held it under the cup ( it's clear) that he should charge us for the extra topping.

I just moved from Flowery Branch to Winder- I have a BP by me which is awful, and stopped here to get on the freeway- $4.20 a gallon for premium!!! In November of 21...gas it up, but not that far. I can go to kroger or just down the street to a QT and premium is $3.80 or certainly under $4 a gallon. Cost $128 to fill up my suv as I was late and hitting 85, so maybe because BP is ripping us off, the employees get yelled at - which I could understand- but this location has been consistently high even prior to march 2020 and was here once in the past 5 years and the other day. There are literally 5 gas stations around here- BP is always highest. Odd. Hate to take it on a business owner, but if it were my franchise, and my costs were high- not my profit goals- I would at least have some great food inside, great kiss your butt service , even apologize for the prices- ( IF BP corporate is to blame) outside of OPEG. From the moment I walked into the store until I left, the cashier was constantly talking on the phone which was on a loud speaker. 2. When I asked him for the alto vape pod, he looked genuinely bothered and told me to just "go get it." What's the point of having a cashier's counter? So I had to go behind the counter and get an item that was like 3 feet away from him. 3. No receipt or even an offer of receipt. He was busy talking on his phone. 4. The marked price for the item was $13.49, but the packaging says $3.50 off. So, obviously the final price before tax should be $9.99, but when I finally get the receipt, its marked as $10.10 each. When I told the cashier about it, he thinks I'm the crazy one and tells me to do the math. What the hell??? 5. When I showed him on my calculator how $13.49 - $3.50 = $9.99, he first tells me some gibberish about how the computer registers the price as such, and that when I told him that the price is wrong, he gives ME an attitude?? He was like why are you fussing about small change? Wtf?! 6. As I'm proceeding to leave the store, he taps on the counter, looks at me straight in the eye and says something in his own language. I don't understand his language, but I'm pretty sure from context that it's probably not something nice 7. Even at this point he refuses to get off the phone. I now understand why this place has such low ratings.
