My donut was hot and I was afraid I wouldn't make it back home. Sebastian was kind enough to help me in my panic state. Plus, my older commuting car seems to run best when I use Sunoco Ultra over anything else, so I'm locked in. Most Sunoco's will wash your windows for free without being asked. Unfortunately, not this one. Perhaps that's a bonus you get for paying a premium when you buy Sunoco gas on the Turnpike.

The elder Indian-American gentleman and his younger coworker were so very cheery which is a surprise given the usual surly gas station attitude. They were clearly vested in the business as they were fast and attentive to the steady flow of incoming customers. There're neither convenience store nor air pump nor vacuum on site, it's a very small station. It's had many predecessors of many differing brands and so I'm hopeful these cheery owners will find success here. My fill-up over, I paid (actually paid earlier as they card before filling) and was on my merry way. Have a nice day!

Well the customer service was good - the person who helped me at the CS desk was friendly and well-informed (I joined online and she told me when to actually expect the physical card in the mail). Other than the CS rep, it's a pretty spartan experience and really just a bigger Walmart. Which duh. Waltons and all that. But it doesn't even have the stuff I would get at WalMart. None of the fresh or frozen foods were enticing to me. Many of the other products were slightly overpriced as compared to Costco or BJs. I did get some things for the convenience factor though: -humongous jug of Fabuloso -Dog treats shaped like churros (I love churros and so does Wesley) -eggs - And a Frigidaire portable fridge/freezer for the tractor trailer that I ordered online last week when it was on sale. I had to join the club to get the product. Ah - I've answered my own question. This place is best for one-off purchases. Verdict: Sam's prioritizes its house brand (Makers Mark) over all else. Many of these brands are actually big names in disguise. However I don't have the time or interest in seeing what is and isn't beyond a cursory internet look AND Walmart hasn't quite built up my trust enough on their house items (I'm still irritated at the Great Value pasta noddles I bought a few years ago) for me to go all in on Makers Mark like I would a Costco Kirkland item. So I predict I'll use my membership sparingly and strategically. You do you though.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because some items can be hit or miss with availability, and a few sections get crowded during peak hours. Overall, it's reliable, convenient, and definitely worth the membership. I always find what I need and leave feeling like I got good value.

I don't know if he's overworked or just a rude employee. It was uncalled for. About 90% of the time I get my gas at Costco but I'm going to reconsider if it happens again.
