When I had a recent issue with the air bag suspension on my Class A MotorCoach and after…read moretroubleshooting the issue myself, taking photos and contacting Freightliner Service I was confident that I had identified the problem accurately, then the concern became how would I safely get my RV to the Freightliner Service Center (approximately 100 miles away) without compromising my safety or causing additional damage (towing can be quite expensive-up to $1200.00). I decided to go talk to the folks at Florida Shores Truck Center who are just a few miles from my home - after speaking with Ed Aldridge, the president of the company and their parts department they really put my mind at ease, they identified the issue using only the information I provided since I did not drive my RV in on my initial visit, they ordered the OEM replacement part and told me once the part arrived we could schedule the installation without me having to leave my coach and that the work would be completed while I wait in only a few hours. This company is staffed with competent professionals, as discussed the part was ordered and checked again the next business day to ensure it was correct prior to scheduling the work. I arrived at a time that was convenient to me and I was greeted at the time of my appointment and after a short review of the process the mechanic started the work. This team took extreme care with my MotorCoach ensuring the installation was executed correctly and took extra time too ensure the part was operating properly and there were no air leaks - they were upfront with the pricing for the part from Freightliner and accurately quoted the installation time so there were absolutely no surprises. Until now I had no idea of how capable and trusted these guys are in the Trucking and RV community, it was nice to see that they service national carriers as well as local municipalities and all brands of RV chassises. Florida Shores Truck Center has definitely earned a new customer, going forward these will be the first guys I call...

They allowed a truck that was raised with wider tires to enter the car wash. Their equipment couldn't pass over the hood of that truck, so that truck stopped. I have repeatedly emailed and called their customer service dept and incident reporting team. I have not heard back once from anyone regarding the status or process to get my truck repaired. They just say that the claim is under review. This is horrible customer service from their corporate office.
