You have to pay before they make your order. Once I paid I took my receipt back to the food area they handed me my order and I was on my way. They did have a police officer on duty so don't try any funny stuff lol he was also very helpful as well. My wrap was like $8 and surprisingly very good! I went in only to use the restroom while my husband waited outside in the car. A security guard was a few feet from the door and definitely saw me enter, I saw no 'suspicious' activity in the store and didn't even notice any other customers inside. When I left the restroom about 5-10 minutes later, the three store clerks and the security guard were all standing by the side of the doors and said nothing to me as I passed them, upon which I found the doors locked. Still they said nothing. Finally the security guard said, "oh, let me get that", as if no explanation was needed, and I, being a woman apparently isolated and locked in a public place for no apparent reason, let him know he had no f***ing right to lock someone in without explanation. He immediately barked "how about YOU'RE WELCOME!?" and yelled something else as I was leaving. I asked my husband if anyone else entered the store after I did, or if anything was going on in the parking lot, and he said a couple of guys approached the door, couldn't get in, and left. If they had to lock the place out of fear of robbery or such, I should have been told that as I was trying to leave and not left there a minute or so struggling with the door. I somehow didn't get the feeling there was some threat. And they knew the store wasn't empty because the guard clearly saw me enter. In this current climate everything is a social experiment until proven otherwise and for all I know this could have been a random attempt at videotaping the reaction of a middle-aged white 'Karen' that the media loves so much. I would advise any woman to avoid this place and to practice situational awareness everywhere, even if she can't be called a "Karen", as no one knows when their demographic will become the latest scapegoat.

Always something new to try and your ride along favorites are here as well. Gone are the days when the crew is paying attention to the consumer. Very transactional. Then when I go into the store the East Indian looking guy behind the glass asked me weird questions rather than simply asking for my ID after I clearly described my card and the name on it. This smacks of racism in Black communities by outsiders. I'm glad they had my card but they need to update their pumps, get a working phone number, and ask more appropriate questions in these instances, especially since this is largely a Black community. I doubt he'd ask the pump number I used if I were White or East Indian. The store was filthy and had some area blocked off apparently for video gambling.

But I had managed to let my tank run too far down and I did not want to run out of gas today. So here we are at this convenient station just off I-285. Two of the pumps were out of service which tends to be annoying when you're driving a vehicle that has a turning radius that approximates the State of North Dakota. So after one big circle, I was able to line up at a pump, run my credit card and purchase 21 gallons of fuel (the Sprinter van technically holds 24.5 but she was whining about "reserve") before I was out and on my way. The pump area is clean and there was no trash. It's a busy place and I would recommend being very aware of your surroundings.
