Worst part was not even the fact that the floors from the door all the way to the drink machine was absolutely filthy. Sticky, ice on floor, mud, dirt, it was gross. The worst part was that the entire fountain drink machine was covered in fuzzy mold & half the drinks were out of syrup & everything was so sticky. I was repulsed that the staff care that little about this place that they can't even clean their drink area. If I hadn't left my phone in my car I would have posted pictures! So so nasty.

Although the postal service brings in a huge amount of traffic to the store the owners of SM Mart are not the friendliest people to interact with; they lack that warm inviting feeling we deserve when we are spending our time and money, and it's replaced with a "hurry-up and buy" presence as they look down on patrons from their elevated platform in the center of the store. There's only two reasons SM Mart is still in business and that is the post office inside and the gas pumps outside.

For you to be desperate. I pull up to the pump and the display where you can see how much per gallon is blurred out. I look up at the billboard sign and it says 3.09 a gallon for regular. Expensive, but ehhh. I need super, but can't be but maybe .60 more? Hell even a dollar. Nah. I gas up and I'm doing the math and the total $ hits 30 and it's not even 7 gallons in my car. I say eff I'll fill up later. Did the math when I got in my car and I paid 4.70 per gallon. That's 1.61 more than regular. How on earth is this normal? I feel like I was robbed today. New, clean, well staffed, well lit, snacks, gas, car wash. It's all there and serves the purpose just as intended. I can fill the air in my tires, fill my gas tank, grab a snack, whatever I need and be on my way. They also offer the BP fuel rewards program where you can earn discounts on future gas purchases. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be tricky. You can only turn right at either of the intersecting side streets. To get around that you have to tour through the adjacent Harris Teeter parking lot. Depending on which direction you are headed from, this also poses a problem turning in. Compared to other gas stations, I do feel like they close a little too early at night. From what I can tell, even the pumps are shut off after closing so you can't even get gas via a credit card car side.

In addition to the car wash, this Circle K offers everything most gas and convenience stores have, but the one thing that sets them apart is the programming on the gas kiosks when you're gassing up. Before I get to the food, I have to recognize Michelle W. She was absolutely outstanding! She managed multiple customers at once with a smile, kept the line moving efficiently, and made everyone feel acknowledged. Employees like her make a lasting impression. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the service. I specifically asked for the brisket to be placed in a container with the bun packaged separately since I wouldn't be eating it until the following day. Other QuikTrip locations have always prepared it this way without any issues. When I opened my bag at work the next day, I found sliced bread with cheese instead of the roll that it is supposed to come with it. Even more disappointing, the amount of brisket was much smaller than what I've consistently received at other QuikTrip locations (posted pictures) Had they used the correct roll, there wouldn't have been nearly enough meat to fill it. The brisket itself still had the great flavor I expect from QuikTrip, but the incorrect order and skimpy portion made this visit a letdown. I hope this location can match the consistency I've experienced at other stores--especially because the customer service from Michelle W. was top-notch. The two stars go to Michelle W. The food that is prepared at sold took away the other three stars I would have given if I got what I ordered.
