I brought my car in for some fuel and wanted to get that 10 cent savings per gallon, so I bought the "deluxe", $11 car wash. - now before I go on they have the ability to do well but just have no system to do so. If you know about washing cars you know that prepping the car is the most important part. They have pressure washers and brushes they should use on both the front and back of the car before they send it through. Anyways this was not done the first time and after going through there was a lot of salt on both the front bumper/grille and also the trunk lid/bumper...as anticipated. So I go in and complain my car wasn't washed to my liking, and kindly a young lady let me go through once more, but this time sprayed my trunk/ bumper with the power washer. Thinking the SECOND wash would have gotten all that salt/dirt off I drove home. ..I was wrong still plenty of salt left over. My issue with this is that they have an employee meet you on the end of the wash to dry down the car for a couple bucks tip. Think about a presumably dirty cloth being used to not only dry your car but also scratch the absolute shit out of your clear coat. This is irresponsible and unacceptable. I don't ever have the gas station attendant dry my car, and until they figure out how to wash a car I won't be returning for anything but gas and free vacuums.

Gas pumps have sensors to let the attendants know the pump is low or out of paper. But these ppl couldn't care less. So that tells me they don't want to pay for the paper rolls or too **** to replace them. Station owner should be out there checking every morning, but obviously he or she is not. I'm paying at the pump, so defeats the purpose of having to walk inside to get it, plus I don't have time to stand in line at the register. I'll take my money to a gas station that appreciates my business.

I stopped in mid- day to use the restroom. It really was urgent. When I walk in there are no "Restroom" signs. The clerk was there but he left the counter and went in the back of the store, not responding to my shouts of "hello, is anyone there?" There was a customer waiting for the cashier. I asked him if he happened to know where the bathrooms were. He directed me to 2 unlabeled. doors in the back of the store. I quickly found out why they were not labeled "restroom". One was completely barricaded with buckets and. Mop heads. I opened the other door and to my absolute horror saw the mist disgussing public bathroom I had ever seen. The toilet was clogged up to the very top with God knows what A plunger layed on the floor next to it I won't describe the rest of it I ran out of the store. The other customer was still waiting for the cashier. This store sells food;! I can't imagine how many code inspections the store would have violated. STAY AWAY.

This is by far the most ill-equipped BP I have been to. They offer a "lower gas price" if you get a…read morecar wash but do not, in fact, have one. I personally also have never been to a BP without a public restroom but this one surely lacks that also. I actually stopped to go to the bathroom because it was an emergency and I bought gas as a gesture although I did not need but a few gallons. After pleading I was turned away still. That experience speaks volumes to their customer service. If you must go to BP, I suggest the better overall option of the one on Gary and Schick that has all amenities as well as some of the best customer service at a gas station around. Other than that, Thorntons is both ways down lake street.
