Great service and big selection!!! First time and not the last. Bought my daughter a great running shirt. Loved it I'll be back! read more

They were understaffed. I was one of a few people the employee was helping, which led to long wait times in between shoes. The employee also kept bringing me shoes that didn't fit (after I told him my size), with features I had already told him I didn't want. After bringing me three pairs to try on (none of which I liked), he told me to try looking online. Not helpful, dude. Maybe on a slower day I would have had a better experience. read more

Nick helped me out a lot even with him seemingly handling multiple other customers he still did so.

I went here hoping to find new sneakers for a trip through Yellowstone as the ones I had with me from home were uncomfortable and tight. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by Ben and I explained the issues I was having. I asked to try on a pair of New Balance and he said I could but he had a pair that he thought would be better for me as I had explained I needed something with a bigger toe box. Well I couldn't even get the NB ones on because they were too tight however, the pair Ben wanted me to try on (Brooks) were comfortable and he was right, they were the sneaker I needed! I'm now two days into my trip and am able to enjoy it without my feet hurting me. It was nice to find a store with such helpful employees! read more

Went there today. Super friendly. Big thank you to Ryan who was very patient with me and helped me picked out a pair of running shoes. Took me a while deciding . Looking forward to trying them out as soon as I can find a route in town that is free of snow and ice. read more

¡Muchas gracias! to Emily for putting up with my life story about my feet, her knowledge and experience, and very pleasant customer service. I've always appreciated the individual hands-on experience at BRC over the years... but today Emily helped me turn around a negative start to the day with the foot doctor and come out with a smile on my face. You rock!! read more

Bozeman Running Company - Altra awesome. - Shoe Stores Near Me - Bozeman, Montana

I have bought a number of pairs of shoes from the Bozeman running company. They have always been super helpful and kind. Not so much today. July 3rd 2021. The guy that was working made me feel like a complete idiot. Like I was someone who has never ran in their life and was asking stupid questions. He was rude. I was in there with my baby just trying to get some info on a couple different brands of shoes and I eventually just walked away. Like I said, he made me feel super uncomfortable and dumb. So sad because I am born and raised in bozeman and would really like to support the local companies. read more

Exceptional service! Staff is super knowledgable about what they carry and they are all super helpful. I purchased some new trail shoes from them a couple weeks ago which felt amazing in the store and on a couple of town runs. I took my new shoes on their first trail run, to Saddle Peak, and I decided they weren't the right shoe for me. I felt bad bringing back a pair of shoes with 20 miles on them, I was hoping for a bit of a deal on a different pair. Instead of just giving me a deal, the pair that wasn't right for me was swapped for a better pair, no questions asked. You don't get service or help like this online or from pretty much any other shoe retailer in Bozeman. You guys have a customer for life now, thanks! read more

I went in after work to get myself a proper pair of running shoes. I knew the importance of getting fitted properly for a pair of running shoes and after reading the raving reviews on Yelp, I decided to stop in. I was greeted by Cassidee who totally made my experience as easy and pleasant as possible. She was very patient and took her time with me, observing my gait and how I walked and had a few choices for me to try on. It was apparent that she was also very knowledgeable in the different features each brand of shoe offered and provided some great information to allow me to make a great decision. I loved the friendly service and my experience with this place is the perfect example of why you should always strive to support a local business over an online retailer. read more

I am not a "runner" but wanted a great pair of shoes so I could start jogging/walking fast or whatever you want to call it, (I just can't commit to calling it "running"). Tyler helped me pick a very comfortable pair of shoes and was extremely patient, knowledgeable and friendly. I was a little intimidated going to a running store, but I was welcomed regardless. I love my shoes already and they give you a free pair of socks with every shoe purchase! read more

Bozeman Running Company - Tried various pairs and yes purple fit/felt the best. Love them! - Shoe Stores Near Me - Bozeman, Montana

I can't be more positive about the BRC. Up until late January, I had never been to Montana and had a few hours after landing to go running. I called them and visited their store to get a few things. They pointed me to some great local trails and had the time of my life. I find that it is very important for a local running store to have staff who not only run but know where to run. BRC did not disappoint and showed me some snow covered trails that were epic experiences. Thx! read more

Very helpful with finding me a pair of shoes for my particular feet/running style. I've always had problems with my feet and I finally got into a pair that fit them really well. Very friendly staff. read more

Went into BRC to grab a new pair of running shoes. Jenny began assisting me right away. She diagnosed my walk/form/feet and began bringing out a variety of different looks, brands, and types of shoes. She was very patient with me as I tried on at least ten different pairs until I found the perfect ones. They have a treadmill in the store to allow you fully try out each pair. The price on Yelp says $$$ however I felt the price I paid for my pair of Nikes was fair market price. Will definitely return whenever I am needing my next pair of shoes! read more

This trained staff at Bozeman running company have the knowledge to have you running your very best. They will take the time to fit you in the shoes most accommodating for your running style. Located in downtown Bozeman, it's always a wonderful experience. read more

Very knowledgeable staff crew. I love that there's always a dog in there, Hobbes is the best. The prices are completely fair and its a local business I love that they are a number one sponsor of all the races in town. Definitely go try them out read more

Nothing but good things to say about this store. We went in at the tail end of Black Friday, experienced excellent service and left with quality products. The staff were very knowledgeable and were sure to hook us up with all the discounts they could think of. Each time I put on my new running shoes, I am so happy I made the purchase. I wish I would have gotten the woman's name that helped us! Thanks for being so helpful and sharing your expertise. There is nothing better than a good pair of shoes when you are hauling your out of shape ass up and down the trails and streets of Bozeman. read more

I have been a fan of Bozeman Running Company for a few years now, enjoying the experience that I have had almost every time I have visited. I have enjoyed working with some of the same people every time feeling as if they always knew what they were talking about with any question that I may had about running and gear. The last time I visited I was very disappointed. When I walked into the store I was hardly welcomed by the gentleman at the front desk (whom I had never seen before), never being asked if I need any assistance. When looking at shoes another employee walked by me without seeing if she could help me. After looking at the shoes for a few minutes I asked if I could be helped, the female did come over and answer my questions but never went into detail (as if she had somewhere to be). I couldn't stand the service so decided to leave. Like I said in the beginning I had always been a fan of the store but after this experience I feel like the employees should be more knowledgeable about the product that they carry. Maybe it was just an off day after reading the other reviews. read more

I was fit for a pair of running shoes. This pair stopped my knee pain! They're awesome here. 5 star customer service!

BRC is a throw back experience. Excellent service, good advice, they'll lace up the shoes! They really listened to me and when I had to do a return I was in there system and it was not a hassle! Also, they support so many run's in our community. Thanks so much. read more

I think the Bozeman Running Company is great for those who have a standard foot size. Unfortunately, I do not have a standard size foot. Several weeks ago they were going to order a wider size for me. After not hearing for 2 1/2 weeks, the shoes were not ordered. Next, they told me that the size I needed didn't seem to be available. They promised to expedite the next width available. I have not received a call in over a week. I decided to order the same shoe from an online store in the width that I wanted. I received the shoes the next day. Also, the Oofos they recommended are not easy to go for a walk while wearing, at least for me. They are way overpriced flip flops in my opinion. That will teach me. read more

This store was very unfriendly and not organized! I was not impressed with the customer service at all. I walked in and no one acknowledged me. I was in the market for a new pair of running shoes and heard this was the place to go. Well this store lost my business. Don't bother going here. There are much better shoe stores in town with better customer service and better prices. read more
