I'll start by saying this was one of the best tours we have ever been on, and I do not say that…read morelightly. If I could give our guide, Elena, infinity stars, I would. When you book (and you absolutely must), ask for Elena. She was not only an absolute joy to be around, but she is incredibly knowledgeable. She knew exactly where to go and when based on the weather, and she is a true expert in all things Yellowstone: the wildlife, the thermal features, the geology, the history. I could go on and on. My husband and I were celebrating my 50th birthday the day of our tour, and I could not have asked for a more magical day. We were a little nervous since it was shoulder season, but those worries disappeared the moment we got started. From the first stop to the last, it was nothing short of spectacular. We were fortunate to see an incredible amount of wildlife throughout the day, but two moments stood out above the rest. First, watching a herd of bison, including a precious newborn calf, was breathtaking. Then came the showstopper: a bear emerging from hibernation. Elena spotted what looked like a tiny dot on a distant cliffside, sprinted to her vehicle to grab a telescope, and within minutes we were watching that bear in real time. It was one of those moments you genuinely cannot believe you are witnessing. That brings me to another wonderful perk of this tour. In addition to the binoculars provided to each guest, the guides carry high-powered telescopes they set up quickly and effortlessly, so you can truly see the wildlife up close. It makes a world of difference. This is a tour we will never forget, and we are already planning to come back in the summer with our daughter. You better believe we will be requesting Elena. You can tell she loves every single thing about what she does, and she is all heart. Five stars is not enough. One million stars, minimum.

We booked a safari experience with this company during our annual family ski trip, which included…read moretransportation to and from the park. While en route, the driver rear-ended a fully stopped vehicle at highway speed. The impact was significant and airbags deployed. My wife and two children (both under 10) were in the vehicle. EMTs evaluated us on scene and, thankfully, everyone ultimately recovered, though there was bruising and soreness following the collision. What was most disappointing was the lack of follow-up or care from the company. We had to initiate contact ourselves days later and never received any meaningful outreach, apology, or effort to ensure our family was okay or to take ownership of the situation. Accidents can happen, but how a company responds matters. I waited several weeks to post this to give them time to do the right thing.

Just bought a new Yeti SB5 and have been absolutely blown away by the level of service I've gotten…read morefrom Rad Bikes! Here are the things I noticed during the purchase process: Shawn & Jackson were always in the shop. It is so nice to be able to work with the same people, so that you don't have to start from scratch every time you visit. In addition, they are great with faces / names - once they knew me, I felt like I was part of the family. As a woman who is relatively new to mountain biking, it is not uncommon for me to feel out of place or dismissed in a bike shop. This is definitely NOT the case at Rad Bikes - every question I had, no matter how trivial, was taken seriously and answered in detail. We had honest conversations about my riding style and the bike that would work for me, which really helped me feel good about my choice. When it came time to talk technical details, Shawn made sure to explain things in a way that ensures I know not only the "how", but also the "why" of all of the settings on my bike. Perhaps best of all, both Shawn and Jackson talked to *me* about *my* bike, rather than talking past me to my husband instead. (You would be amazed how often that happens.) Once the bike was ordered, the turnaround time was inhuman! I placed the order on a Tuesday and was on the trail that Friday. Shawn obviously made it a priority to get me on that bike ASAP, which is awesome. Finally - the cherry on top - in addition to doing a great job selling me a new bike, they are helping me sell my old bike by getting it all tuned up, fixing a few minor issues, and displaying it in their 'used bikes' rack. All in all the best bike buying experience I've had so far - seriously can't recommend these guys enough.

I went to Rad Bikes for their free Yeti demo day. After I came back from the ride Shawn took me…read morethrough the different set ups and why I would want one set up over another. Shawn was extremely patient in all of my questions and explained things in a manner I could understand, all while never making me feel ignorant. When I was trying to decide between a Bike they don't sell and the Yeti BetI SB5 he was extremely professional and honest telling me the differences, which I completely respect. I ended up buying the other bike due to the way I ride, but two of my friends bought Yeti's after demoing them in Moab and absolutely love them!! I would recommend highly Rad Bikes for anyone who is looking to rent, repair or buy a bike.

The staff was nice but not very knowledgeable about any history of the museum itself. We were there for a walking tour. There was no encouragement to explore the museum. I think they have volunteers that create walking tours. Local historians that conduct research and create the tour. The tour host told us stuff that contradicted what the museum had on display in pictures & plaques, and even what the city had on plaques I had noticed walking around earlier. Part of it could be that we have taken walking history tours... Similar themes of the dark history of an area, in Savannah, Boston, London... So we have been on good tours. With great story telling that you didn't even care how true it was. This host was mostly quoting research and offering her judgement & opinions. Little confusing and contradictory at times. I stopped asking questions because I didn't want to steal away any one else experience. And once I lowered my expectation, I enjoyed the totality of the experience... Beautiful quaint town, great to walk around with some preservation starting in earnest. Not sure if the museum pays the tour host or if she was just a volunteer. The museum tend to elevate the women in their slim options the for a livelihood, the tour guide seems to cast judgement on the poor women of Bozeman, not the industrialists that made them sex slaves to the growing town, and the necessity to survive in a new city at the start of the industrial age. The cost of the tour was a good value, and was worth every opinion though because would know none of it otherwise. And of all the tours available, this was the best selection I wish that Bozeman historical created a plaque or other marker for what once stood on the ground there

I recently took one of their walking tours which covered the local park area and one of the historic residential districts. Beth was our guide and she did a wonderful job - it was a great way to spend 2 hours on a lovely late afternoon! I've also been on their architectural walking tour of downtown buildings/businesses and learned so much. Again, a tour well worth taking!!! Definitely add it to your "to do " list while visiting Bozeman!
