Service was not great. Had to drive an hour to pick up the truck. They did give us a credit for…read moreklms but nothing for our time. They only tell you where to pick up your rental two days ahead. This leaves you no time to make other arrangements. They closed the nearby pickup place a week or so before our move. I only know this because I called there, they did not give me the heads up. The people at the facility were all good, but sparse because they have to be in a lot of different places at the same time. The quality of the truck was dangerous. When we got it back to our home we noticed that the tires were in bad shape. One of the 6 tires was totally bald and had no air in it. Good thing we purchased insurance so that the tire could be changed before our trip in the morning. Unfortunately we had to stay up late to wait the 2 hours for the help to come. There was no compensation for our time or discomfort. I blame this on upper management penny pinching. They would rather make extra cash when insure your safety. They showed me that their dollars mean more than their customers life. No value there. Shame on them!

The driver was quite good but the owner is a belligerents, sarcastic, rude individual who is ill-equipped to deal with the public. He berated me for calling him to inquire when the driver was arriving, after he had not arrived on time. He finally showed up, more than 2 hours late. It was not his fault but the owner's. I was stuck at an off the grid, boat in remote cottage with no cell service. I was able to find someone with a working phone and relied on him to contact this company. If you have a choice, do not give them your business. I have passed on my concerns to CAA. Perhaps they will do something about this and review their contract with Le Towing.
