When I asked Dr. Janik's…read moreoffice why Dr. Verrett's office was selected--given that it is over 20 minutes away--they shared that it was because they could guarantee there would be no paperwork issues and that I would be very well taken care of. They were absolutely right. I first called Dr. Verrett's office with a few questions regarding my upcoming wisdom tooth surgery, specifically to confirm whether anesthesia would be available. I will say that the initial information I received was not entirely accurate, particularly the statement that my medical coverage "wouldn't even be looked at," which I knew was incorrect. I'm very glad I trusted my instincts and requested a callback. That decision led me to Heather, who v(to me) she went above and beyond - and i look back at her interactions with me now and i think its just her natural way of being. She was somehow able to fit me in for an in‑office consultation within an hour of returning my call. Choosing to come in person ended up being a complete lifesaver. The in‑office experience immediately put me at ease and relieved so much anxiety. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, and I left the office fully understanding what I would be responsible for financially the following day. I was also relieved to learn that my medical insurance was able to cover a significant portion of the anesthesia. Big shoutout to Cindy as well for helping me understand expectations of next day. I was already extremely nervous that week, but the entire team was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding through every step of the process. I am now seven days post‑surgery after having three wisdom teeth removed, and my recovery has been going very well. I truly can't thank this office enough for the care, support, and reassurance they provided. The in‑house experience made all the difference, and I'm extremely grateful for the level of service and compassion I received.

For the 10 minutes I spent in the room with the doctor where he told me he didn't really know what was going on. About $300 for absolutely nothing. Terrible experience today. After my cleaning on Tuesday, The receptionist Sonia promised me she…read morewould call me with my estimate for a crown later that day. I went ahead and made the appointment for today, Thursday for the repair. I never got that call with the estimate. When I arrived at 10:30 am today, for my appointment she "told me" the price which is now twice the amount since my last Cerec crown in 2021. My insurance is the exact same as back then. No changes in prices or benefits. She went on to say her office manager could offer a 75 dollar discount. (So is there really a set price or are we now negotiating ONLY because I questioned this much higher price for the exact same crown treatment many times before?) I told her I would like to go outside and call and research this price with another Delta Dentist. When I came back in I waited for over 5 minutes for her to come back to the window. As she was discussing what was happening with Dr Park. I told her I would do it, but this was bad business practice to not provide the estimate until the morning of the procedure. She told me to sit back down and she would get back to me. When she called me back up, she told me I would have to now "reschedule" because too much time had past and he could not do my crown today. This was wasted time and gas today and much frustration with this new office receptionist and manager staff. At this point, I still did not have a written estimate for my crown. Before all this happened today, they actually cancelled my cleaning appointment the previous Thursday because the dentist was NOW not going to be in and I only found that out by me calling to confirm my appointment the day before . I was concerned because I have always received confirmation calls or texts days before appointments. It turned out, the receptionist, Sonia was calling my sons phone number and he hasn't been a patient there for over 15 years and clearly we have different first names . So if I would not have called myself to check for that appointment confirmation, I would have showed up last Thursday for my appointment when Dr. Park wasn't even there. When I talked to her then, I told her the correct number to call in the future. BUT again this Monday before my cleaning appointment, I had to call for confirmation, as this time she was calling another number and not the one I told her a few days before. They finally got the correct number for my confirmation reminder ,which came via text this morning at 9:07 am, one hour and 23 minutes before my appointment! I definitely would steer clear from this office, it clearly is not organized now and they are not patient friendly. I am definitely moving on to another dentist.

While I greatly appreciate the thorough examination and high level of care provided by the dentist…read moreand hygienist Alex (who was professional and excellent, answering all my questions regarding my gum and periodontal treatment plan), I cannot recommend this practice due to severe issues with business ethics, aggressive financial demands, and transparency. My appointment took place at their old Babcock Rd location before they moved to San Pedro RD. When I scheduled, I was specifically informed I would be seen by Dr. Wong. Upon arriving, Dr. Wong introduced himself, briefly reviewed my X-rays, and then immediately asked me if another dentist could take over before abruptly leaving. The other dentist introduced himself and proceeded with the examination and assessment. The lack of transparency or respect for my choice of provider was unacceptable. The office also conducted two sets of X-rays, a Panoramic and a comprehensive one which seemed like overkill when a simple bite-wing may have been more appropriate for basic diagnostics. In context, this action raised my suspicion about prioritizing billable services. Especially since neither X-rays were covered by my insurance. I was also not given clear information about the practice being Out-Of-Network (OON) when I asked about insurance coverage. The aggressive financial approach was evident immediately. Before consenting the cleaning service, and while I was still sitting in the examination chair, Larissa in billing approached me. She asked if I wanted to pay for the cleaning then or afterward, even offering to bring the payment system right to the dental chair. After my initial visit, on a phone call, Larissa in billing informed me that the office requires full payment up front for necessary dental work (fillings) before they would even schedule the appointment. This is the first dental office I have encountered that demands payment upfront simply to book a future appointment for dental work.
