Ryan came on time, worked efficiently and completed all our requests with his expertise and his job knowledge. We never felt we were in his way, he apologized for being in our way. We couldn't have found a better person in Ryan Ziegler. His assistant, Anthony, showed his talent in patching up dry wall and painting. Ryan was helpful in making recommendations for future jobs. He was careful to evaluate the scope of the project before diving in and gave me multiple options to consider. He was respectful of my home, clean and professional throughout the process, and even friendly to all the people he had to work around. Did not show up on time, brought people who just sat around or had screaming fights down the street, brought a two year old and a puppy, did not have supplies or functional equipment, was late by hours, and even required a ride home by us. I never got my money back. As you can see by the photos, he left paint running down the walls. I will never use Yelp again to find anyone to work on my home. As a consumer who has used many contractors, this company leaves much to be desired. Furthermore, I requested their insurance three times and was told they have it but it was never provided.

I am an 89 year old woman with Leukemia who needed an additional handrail from my living room to my…read morebasement for safety. I searched YELP for a handyman service who could help me. I contacted Swegles Quality Handyman Service through YELP for a quote. A Matt Swegle came out July 9th, 2026 to measure and check the job out. I told Mr. Swegle that Barry County Lumber, the local lumber and hardware store, had the railing I wanted for $90 plus wall fasteners. At no time during my interactions with Mr. Swegle did I say I wanted the 'cheapest railing available.' I said that I wanted a "matching railing with the one I already had installed." Mr. Swegle quoted $365.00 for the job. I had no other quotes for the railing and installation, but I told Mr. Swegle that I considered that quote very high for the work. After Mr. Swegle's employee finished the work, I was surprised and upset to discover an unfinished dowel rod railing installed which did not match the other railing at all. I contacted Mr. Swegle and asked when they were coming to varnish the handrail and finish the job. Mr. Swegle became very angry and proceeded to scream at me over the phone that "You asked for the cheapest!" At no time did I say the words "the cheapest" in regards to the railing. I had asked for "a matching railing" After telling Mr. Swegle this, I was told it would be an additional $50-$100 to return to finish the job and varnish the railing.

This is just a copy and past from my google review where you can see Wesley's unprofessional…read moreresponse. Do not use K&W fence. I paid him in full in February and at the time they didn't have enough material to finish the gates so they put a different style on. Well they finally came back and installed the correct style once it was back in stock maybe a month later which I was perfectly fine with but they left a bunch of hardware holes in the new panels and posts. I reached out and Wesley said that they would come out and "patch" the holes. Well here I am 4 months later and he has told me multiple times that I would "be on the schedule" multiple weeks and he'd "call his guys". It has been 4 weeks since that communication and he has since blocked me on Facebook messenger and I can no longer see his Facebook page either. I spent 15k on a fence that looks crappy at the most trafficked area that I walk through everyday. I've left multiple texts and phone calls but with 0 response. They also put 2 posts through my irrigation line that I had to dig up and re-route/repair. I also have a cracked post which was from a storm earlier in the year, and when I dug up the post to the right of it I realized why, it had maybe 1/3 bag of concrete in it causing that section to break under compression. If you want to spend thousands of dollars and still have work to do yourself then this is the company for you! He got mad when I reached out to the supplier about warranty on the hardware because it was rusting within a month and found out that he hardware was not from lakeshore vinyl, it was from Lowe's. He said any warranty issues should be done through him but now I have 0 confidence if I ever have a true warranty issue that I will ever get it fixed. Especially because I have no proof of purchase from lakeshore vinyl. Use someone else and pay a little bit more because once the job is "done" don't expect anything else. It's clear to see the attention to detail they have when gates are no where near level and they just scrape on the ground.

And after going through the misfortune of unemployment and making the difficult decision to sell our house to move to a state with more jobs, we asked Kurt to replace a bathroom window for us so we could get the home up to code. He quoted us and said he'd get it taken care of right away, and we called back to pay him and set up an installation date only to be ghosted. He completely ignored us after saying he'd take care of the window and providing a quote. We didn't have any issues with him and everything seemed to be going fine, so we were surprised and disappointed. This seems to be a pattern with him as others have stated here and on his Google reviews. If it wasn't for our amazing real estate agent finding a company for us to work on the window after we had already moved, we would have had issues getting our new buyer approved for the sale. We were happy with the work we did have done on our home however, I can't recommend Kurt or his company as he's inconsistent, dishonest and unresponsive.
