Someone suggested the Postman in late April so we contacted them. They had someone out here the next day to measure and we received our estimate that night. We sent in our deposit and had to wait a while for Miss Dig to get out here to OK their digging spots. Once that was completed, the work was done the following week. The fence is truly beautiful and the work is amazing. The price was very reasonable, too. We are thrilled and so is our puppy! I highly recommend this company.

They responded within 2 hours on a warranty work order to remedy the problem (during the wind storm) and check the house for any other potential issues. No questions asked, no hassle about it being 'an extreme event'. Just took my call, dispatched a laborer, job done. We contracted Lyster to replace our roof and siding in 2015. They did a fantastic job. They gave great support on developing scope and estimate on the roof per how we where using the house. We have a converted attic to living space and as such we had ice damming issues that led to the need for a new roof. They went above code on ice protection and modified the roof deck to ventilate 'as best as possible' per our use of the space. Wonderful communication, great project management, easy to work with on issues that are always bound to come up on renovations. I will admit they were not our low bidder, but their price was reasonable and their workmanship and support of their work was worth the price. You get what you pay for.

So, the quality of work and lifetime guarantee are positives for White Pine. The reason for only a 3-Star review stems from what was promised in the sale. When presenting what the company was offering, the salesperson showed gutters with included leaf guards. She never indicated that these were a separate purchase, leading us to believe they were included in the purchase. After installation, we found out the leaf guards were not installed and were told they were not included in the contract. When questioned about the misrepresentation in the sales presentation, we were offered a 30% discount if we wanted the leaf guards installed - an additional cost of $1,300. Feeling that the misrepresentation by the salesperson - whether unintentional or not - should have been covered by the company and not merely discounted by them, we cannot in good conscience fully recommend White Pine Renovation.
